OMG wtf Its not a MELON and hence not bitter-melon.

Its called: bitter gourd

ITs fucken awesome. Of course you have to make it properly, but its fucken awesome vegetable. It is bitter but its fucken awesome!!!!

You need to cook it properly - like fry it like chips or slice it up and add heap of chilli and salt- like pickle.

Buts its really really good for you.

I agree in terms that you have to cook it properly (otherwise it'd be rock hard)......... but we never fry bitter melon........ nor do we add chilli n salt on it......... who the fuck adds chilli + bitter tastes together? Instead of adding chilli, we use black pepper. Also we can chuck it in a soup...

To fry it like chips? It must taste awful by itself.....

Chilli+ bitter ownz everything else. I dont know how you can have bitter soup? no wonder you think it taste shit.

Bitter gourd - chips is awesome. Once cooked - and seasoned you dont taste the bitterness at all -hence why we add chilli and salt. But we also dice it up and cook it like a side dish - in this case its a very bitter but it is a side dish.

Bitter gourd is the most disgusting shit, though HotShot, I might give that chip thing a go. I'm not expecting it to be delicious at all.

• KFC - eventhogh I worked there I hardly ate the chicken there. Smeels nice but everytime I ate it just make me sore throat.
• Beetroot!! - HATE IT LIKE HELL....taste like some odd supermarket kinda feeling. and the colour just stains everywhere
• Potato - everytime I ate this I can't swallow anymor food. Also chips...I hate this more than boiled potato.
• Bread - Makes me feels bulge all the time...
• EEL - taste so not "edible" it's either smeels fishy nor smokey

Now that I think about it, gourd with egg isn't too bad - The bitterness seems to get taken out of it quite a bit!

well, terribly uncultured of me, but one of my friends is argentinian,and i went to their family barbeque and i dont know what the food was, besides the plain salad and blood pudding, but..yeah. i asked my friend what was on my plate and she laughed and said 'just eat it!'. i think it was some kind of liver or kidney or testicles or something.

It's absolutely disgusting... they sometimes serve it at yumcha and you see it wobbling on the trays... then you see someone EAT IT... like dude wtf is wrong with you...
