Solid paper. I confirmed dropped 13 marks so hoping for 85/100 though I could get heaps below that with sillies and stuff lol.

I think at the start I was too careful and slow- my setting out for Q11 is beautiful etc. I tried to be careful with restrictions but I probs missed some of those as well.
Yea same here. Was a bit chilled until i realised I had like an hour left to do the last 2 questions with missing bits and pieces from the previous questions too...

Looking at 70-85/100 raw, probably higher once scaled as I owned the internal's. It was a good exam, I got 10/15 for 15 and 16 so pretty happy.

Having done the majority of the past papers in recent years, I feel this paper was among the hardest. There weren't the usual easy marks on conics, and the integrations were all over the place. Hell there was an integration by parts question in question 15, and a recurrence in question 13. The new format sucks. The easy MC section was not nearly enough compensation for the fact that there wasn't the usual piss-easy graphing section.

I thought it was VERY easy up to Q12. Q12 jumped in difficulty quite a lot compared to Q11.

All the integration questions in the exam were very easy and could be solved in ~4-5 lines but the volumes and last question were difficult.

This, except I bummed out a few places in 12, 13 and 14 but I got most of 15 and 16.

I don't think it was a terribly hard paper - in saying that I mean I found it hard because I'm a lazy shit and didn't study enough, but it seemed much the same as older papers.
New structure was a bit annoying though, I'd prefer the familiarity of the old format.

I found MC and questions 11 and 12 pretty easy. Does anyone know what the answer to the complex locus question? My answer had A1 in it but i wasnt sure if thats cartesian enough.
Question 13 i couldnt do the ratio of sides in that triangle. Same problem in circle geo. Volumes i completely left :(
Also finding the equation of asymptote L I didnt understand.
Question 15: Left most out, would have got it if i kept a cool head with the little time i had -.-
Q16: I didnt attempt the last 8 marks.

Overall I found it quite difficult. Maybe it was the added "HSC stress". Im probably looking at late 60's, hopefully scrape a 70 :/

Overall, looking at this paper, the questions aren't too bad, but the structure and that all changed, meaning that you ppl woulda done quite badly.

The exam was easy. im expecting at least 95/100 with expected score of 98/100.
Can anyone confirm this? For q16 iv) do you analyse the cases P(K)<P(K-1) and P(K)>P(K-1) to show the answer?
