All boys are homosexuals. All girls are homosexuals. All girls are sexually active people. All boys are sexually active people. All sexually active people are homosexuals.

From the above, we can conclude that:

A. Some girls are boys.
B. All boys are girls.
C. Sexually active people include boys and girls.
D. There are more girls than sexually active people.

Are we assuming "boys" and "girls" are just that - male/female and not A's and B's?

Gah, I have a love-hate relationship with these logic and reasoning questions... though I can see why 'C' is the natural response but that's not using the facts in the question enough. With more reasoning, we can see 'B' is the answer - due to some sort of cyclic argument.

All boys are homosexuals --> who are sexually active people --> who are homosexuals --> who are girls.

B. All boys are girls.
C. Sexually active people include boys and girls.
D. There are more girls than sexually active people.
If you let:
Girls = A
Boys = B
Homosexual = C
Sexually active people = D

A-->C
B-->C

A-->D
B-->D

D-->C

Yeah I was thinking B. I don't even know if my logic makes any sense.

If B (All boys are girls) is correct, then all girls are boys because of the symmetry of the given statements. Then there is only one sex in the universal set of sexually active and homosexual. So B is correct.

C is not correct because the word 'All' sexually active is missing.

N/A
correct answer E - none of the above

also it never specifies anything ( ie it really should be male and female , instead of boys and girls )

reasons why options are incorrect:

A - some girls are boys -> impossible from a biological point of view
B - All girls are boys -> same as above
C - Sexually active people include boys and girls. -> consider the case when there are no boys or no girls
D - There are more girls than sexually active people. -> consider the case when there is atleast one boy

besides its 90% chance he made this thread to troll.

I reckon 'From the above, we can conclude that:' should read 'Which one/more of the following fits the above:'

A is also correct.

I suppose since its a logic question, you have to disregard anything you know (they could have written boys as A's and girls as B's)

Lol, the beauty of S1 of UMAT.

C is not correct because the word 'All' sexually active is missing.
This is the correct logic, also the term 'All' eliminates A and D is not even mentioned in the text (obvious with the word more).

The reasoning is to show that B is consistent with the given statements, and so is A in my opinion. C and D are not.
