Lynn shudders at reminder about her need to put on muscle again. Lynn HATES working out with a passion. She can always barely walk the day after in pain. Lynn HATES post-dance/post-workout pain.

She does however, feel that some alcohol is in order, even if she "doesn't drink". Lynn decides to run off and find some Lemon Lime and Bitters... which is 1% alcohol :D :D :D

Lynn considers going back in time to Renaissance era where muscles were only in for the guys and flab was in for the girls.

Marcus greets everyone. He would like to say that he is dead tired, and thus is not capable of much coherent discussion tonight. On a brighter note he has finished the HSC. He feels the "weight of liberty. Freedom is a heavy load; it is not a gift given, but a choice made, and that choice may be a hard one. The road leads ever upwards towards the light, but the laden traveller may never reach the end of it." Ursula Le Guin, "The Tombs of Atuan".

Lynn greets Marcus and giggles at Alan's attempt at painting toenails. She admits that even she finds it hard to do - toenails are so fiddly. She suggests Alan props his feet up onto steady low table or chair, use the "Three Stroke Method" (Centre, then sides - one steady, even stroke each) and make sure nail polish dries before applying any second or top coats. She also suggests use of a fast-drying nail polish such as Jordana or any "Two-Minute" polishes.

Lynn also wishes to pass on that all the yucky "nail polish marks on skin" can be easily removed with warm water (eg in shower) at least 2 hours AFTER nail polish has been applied. Warm water seems to soften nail polish and can help lift "stray marks" off skin. For special occasions Lynn always does her nails the day before, for example.

Lynn understands how Marcus feels and hopes he has a nice sleep-in tommorrow morning :D :D :D

Lynn begins to sip at her Lemon Lime and Bitters.. as soon as she gets the lid off, that is. Lynn wishes she had a stronger grip.

Marcus finds this conversation which he has walked into humorous.

Alan really could care how flabby the girls are. He must restate that he finds no physical interest in them anyway. So long as Lynn is healthy, Alan is happy.

He would also like to say that post-working out pain is only present if Lynn does not work out often.

By contrast, Marcus wants to get up early, but on his own terms. Many people think this greatly sentimental, but he feels morning to be a sacred time.

Marcus would like to say that he likes women who respect, and are confident with themselves. He does not, however, find walking sticks attractive. Marcus thinks curves are nice.

Lynn agrees, however she values her sleep-ins on an equal - if not slightly higher - level. On trips, she often allocates a certain day where she will wake up early enough to see sun rise.

Lynn disagrees with Alan, saying that pain can be an indication of working out too seldom, or working out hard. From Lynn's dance lessons, post-dance pain is a common occurance that indicates that the muscles have been pushed quite hard and are sore as a result. After a day or two though, lactic acid has dissolved and muscles are stronger than before. "Pain means you've been working hard!" - is the mantra Lynn has been trained under. Subsequently, Lynn tends to only train every second day - work out, then rest whilst pain racks through her body. Work out again, then rest whilst pain racks through her body.

Lynn is still not looking forwards to tommorrow.

Lynn agrees, although she thinks a waist (on her) would be nice. Lynn's body type, according to Cosmo, is a "Spark Plug". However on days like today, Lynn just feels like a "Bath Plug" on legs.

Thanks to HSC weight gain however, Lynn has an actual butt this year. Lynn is intrigued. She thinks butts are a very cool thing to have.

Alan doesnt suffer much pain, if any at all after alot of working out. He finds his muscles sore, but there is rarely pain.

He understands how a morning can be seen as sacred. But personally, its is night that he finds sacred. It is time he has alone. He finds it a time where he doesnt have to hide, rather, he can be the one who goes out hunting :D

Maybe some wont understand. but it is very clear to Alan.

Lynn is jealous, but considers fact that males naturally have a higher muscle content. Females must work harder to earn and maintain muscle mass as it deteriorates after 3 days.

Lynn's butt is combination of scoliosis - curved spine - and comfort eating. As Alan cannot painlessly get himself a curved spine (slthough I would never advise it anyway, very bad for you) Lynn suggests comfort eating, or at the very least glute-strengthening muscles like plies. Lots of plies.

Lynn is not a huge fan of plies but finds that they work glutes (both maximus and minimalis), hamstrings, quads and VMO (plus abs etc) quite well.

Lynn is quite tired from Bondi shopping experience and dance class, so she will now bid everyone goodnight (as she notices Alan and Marcus are still online) so she and her neck (inflammed vertebrae, she is in pain and willing to flaunt it for sympathy) can get some rest.

She will catch up with everyone tommorrow! Sweet dreams all!

Justin feels proud, as he recently read that book. He has almost finished Tehanu, the final book in the Quartet.

Justin vaugely remembers Marcus mentioning another book in the series, and wonders what the title is.
