i used to think handwritten only because i learnt some of it while i was writing but ever since i started year 12 the notes are too big so it's just easier to type

Typed is neater, but do you remember it as much as u handwrite it?
I guess thats the trade-off..

I personally like to handwrite my notes, I learn as I go. It's good if you've got legible handwriting - however, if you don't, typing would probably suit you more. You learn to write faster but it may also be quite time consuming. I do find that writing does enhance, or at least helps, your memory. It's really which technique suits you more.

Type it up first, extract the good stuff and make sure your final study notes are ALWAYS hand-written. As long as you can read it, they're fine. You remember more by handwriting.

I type them, just for ease of reading. It's like typing up your own textbook. I've tried handwriting my notes but the diagrams look so daggy and unorganized and with typed notes, you can tweak and refine them as you go.

Handwrite, then type them up. Or write them millions of times.

Typed - you can edit them later and format them easily so they actually look nice enough to read instead of looking at your horrible handwriting.

typed better as anna said. Also you can't skim through hand-written notes. But honestly, don't spend time typing them up then hand-writing them. You shouldn't consolidate like that. You should discuss things with friends or read your own notes and try applying your knowledge to questions.

handwrite it, then type it up, therefore you can remember it more easily and adjust your mistakes when typing

handwriting can be best suited for practice based on preparation for english essays

but notes in general its better typing it out.

I cannot stand typed notes, they just piss me off. I would try both for a while then just slip into whichever style you find more comfortable, effective, convenient etc.

typed cos it's more organised and you can make changes to it, and then when you print them you can read over and write down what you can memorise.

Typed-my handwriting is atrocious aswell

Also it is easier to make corrections as you go through

And also you dont have to find the book/paper you wrote them on

typed.

you can always copy and paste diagrams from the net if you want, if you hand write it, you're either going to have to hand draw diagrams or print then paste it into whatever you're writing on

I prefer writing but doesnt really matter, I dont reckon either will change your ability to memorise it.
