Uhhh Boo, the Dragons have 15 premierships...

And Kimi, sweetheart, I've already spoken to you about your stuff on MSN.

Thankyou very much to all the people who offered their condolences. It was much appreciated.

all this talk about past premierships and u are all forgetting one thing ... THE BRONCOS DIDNT PLAY BACK THAN so no wonder saints and roosters won so many

and this talk about roosters and the salary cap is similar to the doggies and the rap allegations. if the roosters were cheating they would get in trouble, stop hating the roosters just because they have actually won a premiership

The roosters dont get cited because Schuberts the Auditor alright? Get that into you head. And I hope you support Newtown fornstar.

Where did record come into it for the Rorts? If any premiership records, they stand with Souths and St. George.

12 Premierships and 16 Minor premirships? 9 of your 'minor premierships' are premierships Before 1955, they were the same thing. A bit like football leagues all overthe world.

You should say 12 premierships and 7 minor premierships. Or 3 premierships and 16 minor premierships. But Souths and the Dragons are ahead of you.

cmon now that was uncalled for, i didnt do anything to you or say anything negative about your club..in fact i was supporting you in calling the roosters cheats.

but the only way they can be called cheats is if they are found out , and lets face it they probly wont. there has to be evidence to show this and the exact amounts of each players salarys. as much as we can say they are over the cap (which the probly are or close to it)

to roosters fan it doesnt mean your not cheats and youve won the argument it means that you just havent been found out yet (if you are cheating but how can we BoSers know that?)

we will know whos right when the proper auditors get the information and make their judgement. so for now can we jsut drop the subject?

we all support and hate diffrent clubs can we leave it at that?
Yeah, I thank you for your support. I hate the Eels and I've been hating them for a long time. I hate that club. You hate whichevr club you hate. We will leave it off this forums. And I'll leave it at that.

You're forgetting one thing too. The Broncos have the whole of Queensland to take their players from. At least now with the Cowboys more competitive and the introduction of Gold Coast, we MAY see a more even spread.

The Dragons (and most other Sydney clubs) could only take players from their local area. When we won 11 in a row between 56 and 66, you'll find that almost every single player grew up a veritable stone's throw from Kogarah Jubilee Oval.

Why are you Dargons and Roosters fan trying to argue about who is better, its obvious both your teams are the biggest chokers of the last 15 years, youve combined made about 9 premierships and won one.

the same ian schubert who also played for wests and manly, and coached lower grades at the dogs
the same ian schubert who was kicked out of a job at easts, and started chasing the club for breaches as soon as he got his current job

I did say "ALMOST every player".

Cityboy, is isn't about currently. More about the history of the two clubs (those being Eastern Suburbs and St George). Also, it has to be noted that St George the Dragon Slayers joined in 1921 (almost 15 years AFTER Easts).

Here's a few stats if anyone i.e. Kimi is interested: :p

First Grade Premiers TOTAL = 15
St George Dragons: 15
•St George
1941 1949 1956 1957 1958 1959 1960 1961 1962 1963 1964 1965 1966 1977 1979
First Grade Runners-Up TOTAL = 14
St George Dragons: 13
St George Illawarra Dragons: 1
•St George
1927 1930 1933 1937 1942 1946 1953 1971 1975 1985 1992 1993 1996
•St George Illawarra
1999
First Grade Grand Finals appearances TOTAL = 26
•St George
1930 1942 1946 1949 1953 1956 1957 1958 1959 1960 1961 1962 1963 1964 1965 1966 1971 1975 1977 1977replay 1979 1985 1992 1993 1996
•St George Illawarra
1999
NB: St George also contested the following 'Finals' (ie non grand final competitions):
1927 1933 1937
First Grade Minor Premiers TOTAL = 15
St George Dragons: 15
•St George
1928* 1946 1956 1957 1958 1959 1960 1962 1963 1964 1965 1966 1967 1979 1985
* Equal minor premiers in 1928 with but with better for and against record.
NB: Also equal minor premiers with Wests in 1961 and with Canterbury in 1993 but with lower for and against record. (1961 reports show that the NSWRL awarded the prize jointly between Wests & St George).
Club Championships TOTAL = 18
St George have won the most club championships...
•St George
1940 1942 1946 1949 1951 1955 1956 1957 1958 1959 1962 1963 1964 1965 1966 1971 1984 1985

Then, Reserve Grade have won 7 premierships and been runner-up 17 times, while Third Grade has won 15 premierships and been runner-up 11 times.

Kimi, I don't think you can beat it :D

Hehe, Broncos are in this exact position every single year.

The thing they have going for them this year is the fact that they had less SOO representation than normal, so the players won't tire as quickly.

They are certainly favourites. And they deserve to be.

Haha they are the second favourite. Also, deservedly so. However, Brisbane 54 def 14 Parramatta still stands out.

It's a pity that St George Dragons don't exist anymore, and the St George ILLAWARRA Dragons have won ZERO premierships! :)
Hehe this is true. We lost in 1999 because video referees aren't allowed to rule on forward passes, no matter how blatant. Bloody refs!
