Surprised English was so good, and that my Eco school mark dragged me down.

Business Studies 89/100 87/100 88/100
General Maths 90/100 90/100 90/100
SORII 85/100 84/100 85/100
English Advanced 78/100 74/100 76/100 (expecting 60 lol)
Economics 82/100 80/100 81/100
Hospitality 89

Overall I'm really quite happy! SAM came up with 88.35 and the one my school uses came up with 87.40 .. I know it'll be 85-90 range which is great! I'm hoping for 88.xx but regardless I will be happy! :)

hi i was wondering if anyone knew whether: if somebody gets the top assessment rank of their class, but another person beats them in the exam, does the top assessment person get their exam mark??
Well - take me and my friend as an example. My internal rank in MX2 was 2nd and hers was 1st. These are our HSC results:
ssglain
exam mark: 99, assessment mark: 97, HSC mark: 98
ssglain's friend
exam mark: 97, assessment mark: 99, HSC mark: 98

As you see, because she held an internal rank of 1, her "assessment mark" has been moderated to be equivalent to the highest mark achieved by our cohort in the exam. My assessment mark, on the other hand, has been moderated to be equivalent to that of the person who came 2nd in the exam.

I hope that illustrates the point to some degree.

I guess, in a sense, it's more annoying to under-perform in internal assessments than in external HSC exams. Sigh. Happened to me in Adv Eng as well.

@SS: Those are fantastic results! Congratulations! I'm very happy for you. :)

Premier's Award = 10 units worth of Band 6 (or E4).

I don't know why I'm doubting myself on second thoughts now. Someone please confirm?

Ancient History- 92/100 6
Business Studies- 86/100 5
Legal Studies- 88/100 5
English (Adv)- 82/100 5
Mathematics- 71/100 4

SAM- 88.35

I'm pretty happy with that. I'm sort of wishing I'd done that little bit better in both legal and business so I could have ended up with a couple more band 6's... but overall I can't complain. Btw, congrats to everyone on here... I'm seeing some really awesome results. :D

I've been trying to get into bos for a while now, but it hasnt been working for me since 6am-ish!

Anyhow, congratulations on all your results!

These are mine, which i am quite pleased with :)

Ancient History 94
Business Studies 87
English (Advanced) 92
English Extension 1 44
English Extension 2 46
Modern History 88
History Extension 46

2 band 6s and 2 E4s! woot woot.

I'm really surprised with my ee2 mark - i would have been pleased with an E3.

SAM says 96.4.

I haven't tried JUAI; what's the Einstein thing?

Haha exactly how I feel right now!
I got all band 5's and was pleasantly surprised with that.. but with news of this year being having the highest achievements in years my hopes for a UAI to get into BA-Psych at Macquarie are diminishing ..:worried:

I got

Advanced English - 80 (GAAA WHY!? haha I thought i would do so much better)

Legal Studies - 87 (I got 88 in the actual exam though woop I was expecting like a 22 haha)

Society and Culture - 85 (I was seriously expecting a 12 for the exam in SoC)

Modern History - 85 (I got 86 in the exam which was great)

Visual Arts - 85 (I was really shocked when I didnt get a band 6 for this, but what can you do)

and SAM is (predictably) not working nor has it been for the entire day SO I downloaded another UAI calculator which gave me an 84.40 BUT I do not really trust it. Im not stressing though anyway coz I know I did my best.

Everybody has gone reeeeally well!!! congradulations everyone!!! PS: Party at my place ahah

Did you send an email into Sunrise today? If not, they had a very similar person to you who said that they worked six days a week in their family's business. Good results regardless, so I hope you get into the course you want to.
HAHA yea. OMG my brother wrote an email when he was at work and sent it to them straight after i told him my results. i was equally shocked when they said my name and i was watching it i was like "wtf?? " *spits out breakfast on dining room table*
