Ok, Sophia acts like she has tourettes syndrome, she's a lunatic. She tried to spear me with a 2metre long, ~5kg poll (which was a rolled up map with huge wooden cylinders on each end). Then she tried to punch me in the face about 50 times, amongst other things. For about 1 week last year ever single ancient period we had she'd go crazy, it was pretty funny but then she goes around writing bullshit like that, stupid slut. Not to mention it was all unprovoked, every lesson it would start with someone throwing something at her and her assuming it was me.

Ours isnt that long...
its goes like this

A land of rural wealth
A school of hope and health
Where all of us may try
To reach a standard high
Of our school we are proud
Each day with voices loud
Our motto we shall sing
Humanitas Cum Honore

Verse One
We are a school called Bossley Park High,
Where we learn and where we strive;
With our teachers to do our best,
Focussing on exceelence and success

Chorus
Goodness is symbolised through
Our black and white colours
We're always there to lend a helping hand to others.
Multi-cultural races harmonise to fill the halls,
So it's plain to see the place to be,
Is behind our Bossley walls.

Verse Two
Teachers and students working as one,
Through years of achievent,
To get things done;
In an environment of prosperity,
Bossley Park High is the place to be

Rap
Yo check check, 1, 2, 1, 2
Ya'll know we're the crew in black and white
Wearing our bling bling thats out of sight!
Excellence and success, we've got in this MIX
Cause ya'll know we represent the 2 - 1 - 7 - SIX

Repeat Chorus
ROFL!!! Man our school song was scrapped at least 10 years ago but I wouldn't mind somethin like dat rap rofl dope rhymin

We dont' have a school song at high school... THANKFULLY!!!
We had one in primary school... had to sing it every week!

Glenhaven School, Glenhaven School
A school of which we're proud
we serve thee well in loyalty
and sing our praises loud.

We all endeavour to achieve
the best in all we do
so we work hard, our goals set high
in friendship we are true.

Glenhaven school though small you are
to us you are the best
guide us through these important years
to stand proud with the rest.

hang on.. i missed a verse out... but i can't remember it. Something to do with mountains blue within our view. Ah well.. guess it's amazing i remembered that much of it!

Current School Song

Come gather round Hurlstonians
And sing with all your heart.
It's here we learn about life's ways
And how to play our part.
It's here we learn about the land
That gave us all your start.
We are glad that we belong to Hurlstone.

CHORUS:
Hurrah, hurrah for the plough and the harrow and the hoe.
Hurrah, hurrah for the wheat in the waving row.

And when we're out upon our own
The good results will show
What we have learned at dear old Hurlstone.

Now you should see our sporting teams
When they achieve their goals.
They try their best and tear it in
With all their hearts and souls.
While o*n the field the other side
Lie round in countless shoals
When the blue, red and gold play up for Hurlstone.

CHORUS

And here's to those who've gone before
To fortune and to fame,
All fiercely proud Hurlstonians
Who've won for us a name
And in the years that are to come,
We hope to do the same,
For the honour of our great school, Hurlstone.

CHORUS

no high skool song
motto: "ad maiora nata sum"
(translation) "we are born for higher things"
*cough*joys of a 'preppy'-ish private skool (4 a gong skool, prolly the 2nd poshest in the area...now that makes me sound bad lol)

had a primary song...can only remember the chorus
this is our school
and let peace be found here
may the rooms
be full of happiness
let love abide
love one another
and love it like itself
oooo and the love of god

as u can tell....cath primary skool lol...sounds kinda corny now that i think about it
"rooms" often got changed to "rules" which makes it sound werid:
"may the rules be full of happiness..." lol

God mine was awful. Even my primary school's song had better lyrics.

From a village near Lyons, Jeanne Marie started out;
Now throughout the world the Marist word is spread about.
Here midst Jacaranda flowers and places old and new;
By the flame trees’ crimson boughs the river sparkling blue.

Our school faith is Mary’s, her gentleness and love.
Olive branch and lily are carried by the dove.
Tower of strength and light, Southern cross will guide.
We the children of all lands revere her name with pride.

We are children of all nations, from all cultures come;
In our study and devotion our goals are as one.
As our learning we pursue, and strength and wisdom know;
Our true friends are here at Woolwich, by our love we grow.

To Abbotsliegh we raise our voice
in gratitude and praise
for all that she has stood for
through many years and days

We think of those who've led her
We think of those who've shared
We think of those who've done their best
and tho countless ones who've cared

We praise god for our heritage
and our school thats stood the test
and ask for strength and courage
to give to her our best
*wipes a tear from her eye*

Ours is ok... i spose but nobody remembers the words - but i'm bored so ill type them up

Fly Falcon Fly(North Sydney Boys)

Soars the Falcon Strong and free
Symbol of our destiny
Ours the voice free to speak
Ours to scale the highest peak
Praise to sons who went before
Who laud its name forever more

CHORUS
Fly Falcon Fly
Fly Falcon Fly

Soars the Falcon strong and free
Bringin home to you and me
Need to strive and give our all
Answers to the rallying call
Raise our voices write the story
Scholars, sportsmen tell its glory

CHORUS

Soars the falcon strong and free
Winging on to victory
Raise the weary help the weak
Ever more its ideals seek
UP the echoing pealing cry
"Keep the falcon flying high"

CHORUS
----------------
As u can see it kinda centres around school patriotism poss. a little too much- and i'm under the impression it has never ever changed

my school sucks it doesn't have a school song. they're in the process of writing it with some ancient songwriter that i've never heard of before. but my old school i went to in yr9 had a school song. I can't remember verses or anything but I remember the chorus. *clears throat*

In the spirit of St. Scholastica
May we seek peace in all the we do~
May we set the love of Christ above all things~

the chorus is only 3 lines and we sing it about 4 times throughout the song its kinda stuck to the side of my brain.

School song to SBHS

Come, rally round, boys young and old
To swell the happy throng.
And sing the song of Sydney High
In measures loud and long.
Though many are our tasks severe,
With efforts none the less sincere,
We'll overcome them year by year
With courage, bold and strong.

Then sound once more the strain,
And let the cloisters ring again
With echoes of our School's fair name,
The name of Sydney High.

Ring out the name of Sydney High,
In peals of joyful praise.
The glories of our heritage
Must never fade away.
With "Truth and Courage" as our guide,
And minds prepared whate'er betide,
When we are scattered far and wide,
Our tribute still we'll pay.

Then sound once more the strain,
And let the cloisters ring again
With echoes of our School's fair name,
The name of Sydney High.

I didn't see the St George Girls' High one there (I know it's embarrassing, ladies, but it's heck funny):

Let our voices mingle in the chorus,
Tell the world of battles fought and won,
Valiant and bold, St. George of old,
Left a story well begun,
For loyal hearts to still uphold,
Let there be no fear
St. George Girls' High School takes its heritage,
Nor will disgrace its page.

St. George, St. George,
We'll hoist the banner high,
St. George, St. George,
We'll flaunt it to the sky,
Proudly let it flutter, discerned by every eye,
Oh the grand old school of St. George.

Fling the pen aside and don the jacket,
Always first and foremost in the field,
Cry red and white, Trust God and right,
Play to win and ne'er to yield,
In sport we'll prove St. George's might,
Let who will oppose us,
St. George Girls' ever, ever will be there,
St. Georgians will be there.

St. George, St. George,
Run up the red and white,
St. George, St. George,
In chorus God and right,
In the field and classroom,
St. George will win the fight,
Trust the jolly girls of St. George.

Oh, the irony. And the pain.

this is from memory...

calling out to all who wear the red, the white, the blue
the witness to the word of god in everything they do
underneath this sacred cross that lights our southern sky
gather on this sacred ground and lift your voices high

chorus:
proclaim the good news, hear us call
freeman, freeman one and all
proclaim the good news, we all cry
freeman, freeman we will try

there's like 2 other verses but i don't know what they are...feel free to correct me..
