I just want to ask if my school is the slackest school in the world. If ur not in the advanced math class, which only 20 ppl are in, then you are not allowed to do CHEMISTRY, PHYSICS, 2UNIT MATH/3U MATH. Also, if u want to do math, u may only do general.......... slackk

Your school offers psychology?! That's so cool. I wanted to do it, but I couldn't see it listed as a subject in any of the handbooks I was given. Is it a Category B course, or something?

im quite capable of doing them and doing well in all of them but someone with experience plz tell me, am i screwing myself over, like is the stuff im doin a little hard especially when im thinkin of piking 4 maths in year 12 and how much work will i or should i be doing in years 11 and 12 with those subjects.

I've got a friend doing virtually the same subjects as you, just not extension 1 english, and he's coping with the work fine

yeah my friend is doing those subjects except swap eco for business. he thinks its a waste of time but it's probaby the teacher.. who is not really a business teacher...

You'll do just fine. Just remember don't fall behind on your work and you'll go great. And you can always change if you dont like them.

My school also offers psychology. it's not very grand but its interesting to some extent.

I'm not sure what a Category B course is. But apparently it's a board endorsed subject, if that means anything to you

We only got a week to decide on our subjects. I thought it was a little rushed considering that we were given practically no information on what courses would be offered at our school. How long did everyone else get to decide on their subjects???

I believe last year we were given around a week and a hlaf to do the selections, but we were given a lot of information relating to the courses.

We got about 2 weeks to choose our preferences and get a signature from head of depts. Then after the lines came out we had another week.

I know, I know...very humanities-based. Hee. Oh well, I can't wait to not have any more Science / Maths!
