LMAO Riet no need to go into that detail b4... simply a 92 Lancer cant do 240, apart from the fact that its only 4cyl and I think they also have crappy carburrertors... the thing is hardly operating at peak being like 16 years old.

My V6 Ive heard can do 220km/h lol max... and thats after flooring it for 20kms to finally get their. Good luck with a Lancer.

I dont know what you got but I'm guessing a commodore or something? I hear VNs are good for 200 easily, because they were the first with the 3.8 and quite light. And yeh, R32 GTS25. Not bad for 140 kW.

This one's kinda blurred but this is at the absolute top speed because of the limiter.

I reckon if we took the spoiler off, without the limiter it'd crack 200 - it has enough revs left to do it.

Lol nah only a 3L V6 Camry. Still has 140kw and 270Nm of torque... only alittle less then the 3.8L Commodore, personally Ive done 180km/h comfortably, but its an uphill battle after that.

Is the weight of the spoiler that much? I thought the downforce of the spoiler would make it worthwhile.. esp at those speeds.

The spoiler weighs about a kilo, its fiberglass and hollow. (R32 GT-R Spoiler), I meant more in terms of drag than weight. I don't know if it makes a whole lot of downforce but if you just wanted top speed then you'd definately be quicker without it. Also your 3L camry is better than my 2.2L one, ahah. This was boredom, after an oil change:

Who's 3L camry?

... and I agree, it's probably going to speed things up if you take it off, but not 20km/h quicker. But then TBH, I don't really know much about the aerodynamics/physics of this, just basing it on what I think would happen (and not necessarily what would).

All that's stopping it at the moment is the limiter. I'm not saying removing the spoiler would make 20 km/h difference, it'd make it easier to get to 200 though.

I'd tell you to get the FCD... but... I don't think it's such a great idea in Australia where the police ACTUALLY will get you.

It's not my car, it's one of my mates. I'm getting my motorbike license a week from now. That will be interesting...
