You might have a 6 pack boom but youve probably got only shallow cuts + 12 inch arms and no lats. ;)

kfnmpah im not sure about that chocolate. Sugar can spike insulin (or something like that) so carbs are better to come from green vegetables than sugars.

Also 2 hours before your depletion workout you are supposed to have a small carb meal to boost insulin. This helps with restoring glycogen IIRC. My memory is not serving me well today.

Read that article if you are serious about a keto. If youre not keto-ing properly you dont get the benefits. Fine lines in this diet.

Actually read this one aswell http://www.steroidology.com/forum/diet-forum/1288-keto-weekends.html
it has all the info about when to carb-up how to personalise a carb-up and with the other article its pretty much the only resource you need for successful carbs-ups and depletion workouts.

um...

chocolate = carbs

cream = carbs

any form of sugar = carbs

:confused:
BRRT

are you on the keto diet?

dark chocolate has 19 grams of carbs in a whole block
fake sugar has nothing in it
cream has 20 grams of carbs in a whole container, i have like 4 teaspoons in a cup of tea.

to you, meilz92 i say BRRT

I've started getting heart palpitations from this keto diet... after my depletion workout i started getting them, it's rare but apparently it happens so i'm stopping it... well, phasing carbs back in.
GAY!

It's been a good learning experience though. I'm going to keep experimenting :)

Today:

small bowl of porridge
peanut butter and celery
salami
tea
piece of chicken
kangaroo mince
steak and a potato for dinner... phasing fat out and carbs in. how exciting...

little disappointing. :(

im over the bad symptoms. Now im feeling and looking a little leaner.

Just drop out carbs and you should still se benefits. By drop out I mean instead of going to 300gs a day stay at 100g or something, centred around your workouts (!! 2 hours before, STRAIGHT after) and then make up the rest of your target cals with fats and protein.

Yeah, i think imight keep trying. I do a lot of cardio at the gym as well as weights which, i think may have something to do with it, so i'm thinking of cutting back/going easy on the cardio. I'm going to keep at it, i think. I'll try any way. I could tell a difference too on my stomach and legs, it was excellent.

Chips/Cheese dip & nutella & peanut butter sandwich (half each)
Garlic Bread - 5 pieces.
