What HSC Subjects Are You Guys Doing? (1 Viewer)

You guys have to do any exams to get into MX2?

Don't think so...I'm not sure if I'll make it in.

Here's the situation. School is only letting in 24 students. The accelerated people from our current year (who have done 3 unit HSC) will have first priority. There are about 12 of them wanting to do 4 unit. That leaves about 12 students from non-accelerated classes.

In the half-yearly I came 27/79 for 3 unit, but that includes the accelerated people from the year below us. And some of the people ranked ahead of me are not doing 4 unit, which is good for me, but I seriously don't know if I'll make it in or not...

Haha, no. Everyone told me I should do 2U, and when I ruled that one out they were like "at least do general!" which I was considering. But then it clashed with ancient and my mind was made.

Jachie, I rarely see anyone from a selective school not do maths. LOL. Thats why I was surprised.

But if the career you wanted doesn't need it, then great.

Ah everybody who already replied are doing 4U's of either english and/or maths. Ahaha .. I feel kinda shit now.

I haven't officially decided yet, but I shall be doing:
3u Maths
Eng Adv.
Chemistry

And dropping one of:
Physics
IPT
Engineering studies

Drop IPT.
I got 92% in trials.

Yeah mate, I'm dropping SDD although im' really interested in it, but my teacher is such a dropkick that it just goes beyond clear logic to continue if the WHOLE course is self-taught.

Philosophy was a fill-in unit for my school.

I dont think we need to do an exam to get into 4 unit, but if we're deemed to be unable to do it, then the teachers will discourage us to do so.

Damn, 3 extensions! Wish I did Modern this year because I did great at it in Yr 9 and 10, and because I could pick up history extension and do 15 units. Also wished I did do the Engineering TVET course taking it to 17 (my friend is getting 100% in every test).
