Like I've heard that CSU-Bathurst is the best for journalism. What are Usyd, UNSW, UNCLE, UNE, SCU, UoW strongest at?

UTS: IT/Communications/Design - Practical Experience all-round.
UWS: Sciences - Lower ATAR cut-offs
CSU: Communications/Media - Reputation + Practical Foundations.
ANU: Research/Academia - Networking / Politics
UOW/UNCLE: Com/Sci/Engo - Great Uni's overall, just further away.
LaTrobe/ACU/SCU/UC/UNE: Lower Cut-offs...

I think Usyd has the widest range of subjects if you're doing arts (afaik, anyway).

yeah it is not the greatest place for education, Employment rates are crappy apparently. ACU has pretty high employment rates, and strathfield campus is pretty much all education students and is small. It seems most people get a job first year out except for PE but every pe teaching graduate has problems getting a job atm.

Saying that i do know some excellent teachers who have come out of usyd

I've met a great teacher who went to ACU. My best teachers all went to UNCLE or UNSW.

Hopefully it's different for primary ed. I think it's easier to get casual work at least.
