don't really have an all time fav atm.

lol but i can tell you i like these:

all the TinTin ones.
and The Rainbow Fish.
and Where's Wally... and I Spy.
+1 for Tin Tin.

Can't forget Asterix.

^ I really enjoyed the Kite Runner as well. Khaled Hosseini's other book, A Thousand Splendid Suns was also quite interesting.
Pride & Prejudice, The Book Thief and The Pact are other ones I really enjoyed.

I don't really have a definite favourite, but standouts for me include:

Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb (or pretty much any of her trilogies, especially the Liveship Trilogy)

The Old Kingdom Trilogy by Garth Nix

Five Greatest Warriors by Matthew Reilly - so epic :D though once again, some of the other books are pretty good like Ice Station

The Harry Potter series (sad but true), The Time Traveller's Wife, The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six more (basically all Roald Dahl books :)
