um everything should be about the same
im hoping 4u can still improve, considering im no maths dud
and physics is definitely deceptive. for half-yearlies i was first
only this time, there was a prac task (which im normally really good at) which was worth 30% but only marked out of 20, which i lost 4.5 marks in through sheer stupidity, which totally screwed my trial result
for the year, there were 4 assessments, 2 pracs, 2 theory
my ranks were 2 for 1st prac, 4 for 1st theory, 52 for 2nd prac, and 6 for 2nd theory, so im pretty sure my external should be top 10, possibly top 5

wish they'd combined SBHS and SGHS and cull the duds!
maybe i should've gone to JR...oh well
but i think if i went to coed, i would just be totally distracted all day and i would'nt be where i am now
Provided that you bring either 4u maths or physics in line with your other subjects (as at least one unit from those four must count), I would say that you have a reasonable chance at 100.
The chance isn't high enough to allow you to simply maintain your current level of performance, though - you will actually need to improve (noticeably, but not significantly) for 100 to be a real and definite possibility.

please define 'reasonable' and the distinction between 'noticeably' and 'significantly' 
lol...i know wot u mean. i keep telling ppl at my school that 100 is fking hard, yet they persist on feeding my ego
but im hoping my school's good past performances in maths will continue, so my internal assess. should be scaled up, but i think my 4u can defn improve to top 10 level, and same with phys.
but do u think its a good idea to sort of not try that hard for phys anymore, and concentrate more on improving my 4u? cos no matter how well i do in phys, i don't think the scaled marks will beat my 4u mark...will it?

hei, if i've made u feel a real downer, i am seriously seriously sorry. i dunno if i can say anything without sounding up myself or dickheadish, but really, as long as u get into the course u want, then its all cool, and i can assure u, ur life prbly kicks my arse in so many different ways - marks is just one aspect, im a piss poor sportsman, i have plenty of woman troubles, i'm sleep deprived etc. etc. so really, these results aren't indicative at all of the greater picture. don't feel bad about urself juz cos some dickhead (ie. me) posted up his marks.Originally posted by Dash

pigz: some advice, but im not saying follow it - by the looks of things right now, physics will prolly not count (again, by the looks of things right now). If u feel as though u can own it, go ahead and study hard for it, but my suggestion is to invest a lot more time with 4U maths, coz as Cyph said, that could make or break u for 100. English and Latin are fine, so is Economics, so I guess it's up to your 4U maths.
However, since u've done extremely well all year in all those subjects, u shouldn't really neglect Physics...since u never know how scaling will turn out this year..but yeah, 4U maths, in you're case, is the key
and yeah hopefully alll this stuff wont jinx u....like last yr, spice girl was a shoe-in for 100

your marks would motivate others if anything
if anyone thinks, "what a dickhead", "show off", etc....well then that is there problem. you have worked your ass off, i presume, and deserve to know info about your marks.
