dude, you don't even need a spotter.

don't ever do anything you don't think you're capable of. and if you find yourself like you can't bring the bar back up you rest it on your chest, and roll it off.

you just roll the bar to your waist, and you sit up.

yeah fair enough.

i'll use barbell on friday instead of dumbells, see how it goes.
but stay safe man.

wear a belt (a normal one) and if you find yourself unable to bring the bar back up, roll it does to your belt, and sit up. from there you can just grab the bar and throw it off.

lol idiot. eventually you'll get to a point that the total amount of weight on the bar is wayyyy too heavy for your chest and you'll hurt yourself. resting it on your chest is a SHIT HOUSE idea.

and rolling it down to your hips is even more stupid. roll it too far and you'll crush your hips.

because the belt will act as a stop. you don't want the bar to roll onto your dick now do you?

and hagaren, don't ever wear one of those workout belts. they're really bad for you, unless you're doing olympic style lifting. if you use it continuously, your back gets used to it and you'll pretty much be forced to wear it forever.

just wear a normal belt.

you don't rest it on your chest, more on your stomach. your stomach can take a lot.

and where the fuck do your hips come into it?

um, year 11, year 12, and started again end of last year.

and how many reps/sets do u do with 25kg?

with 15kg i did 3 sets, 12, 14, then 15 reps, but ive moved onto 17.5kg.

you do less reps? or are you just bigger than me. remember to take into account that im only 166cm tall.

sounds like you've never even tried doing it? you are clearly an idiot. try resting a 100+ kg bar on your stomach. then roll it down so you can get up

moronic advice. dont take it, whoever is reading.

and omie jay that is not a big press. cut down your reps to under 12. why are your reps increasing after each set? are the first two sets not to failure? what is your barbell bench? just out of curiousity..
