how big a change is yr 11 maths to yr 10 maths (3 Viewers)

btw my other 'solution' was never a solution. i knew half way through i was wrong.

Using one application of integration by parts:
Integral[log[10]x] dx
=xlog[10]x-x+C

This would work if the logarithm was to the base e.

And Drongoski, I know of Salman Khan - I follow him pretty often actually, see whats updated/where he's done talks.

lol. india is in east asia. salman khan is this guy that started on youtube uploading a tutoring video for his cousin lol. since then his become a phenomenon. his vidz are great

If you already know integration by parts in year 10, what were you bellyaching about doing MX1? By Yr 11 you'd be capable of sitting the MX1 & MX2 exams. You'll get ATAR of 99.99.

Agreed. You're already much further ahead than some Year 12 students.

Yes, it is. However remember you're integrating , there's no need to differentiate that function.

ahh yeh. i was completely unaware of the change of base formula. so u use that wen integrating logarithm functions of a base other than e?
