Didn't attend bridging courses this past week!

No, not really. Like I said, there are people in the past who had never taken up Chemistry or Physics or Biology during the HSC and still managed to get a decent mark in the fundamental units at university. Fundamental units are your basics 101 - they cover the need to know. You'll be fine. The...

    What to bring to O-week?

It's a card that entitles you to on and off campus discounts for food, drinks at the bar, certain events, memberships for clubs and societies, online purchases etc.

Didn't attend bridging courses this past week!

1001 is concepts of cell biology, DNA, theory of evolution etc. 1003 was tailored more to learning on the basic physiology and anatomy of humans eg. reproductive system, different organs and functions etc.

    What to bring to O-week?

Quite a bit. But if you do want to purchase an Access during the year you can head online or head on over to the Manning Desk. ^_^

    What to bring to O-week?

Don't quote me on it hahaha. It might be different for the Access Cards now (seeing the prices were lowered last year).

    What to bring to O-week?

Dunno about the pic but I bought a three year one and it expired on the month of December of the third year (and I had valuable free coffee vouchers I couldn't use up on time). But the one year one may be different.

    What to bring to O-week?

Online, during O Week where a tent is set up for it or any day during the semester at Manning. Correction - it seems you do not need an Access for Faculty Societies.

    What to bring to O-week?

Like I said, you don't need to join officially as a member and you can still participate in Law Ball, Law Camp etc. with a non-Access price/fee.

    What to bring to O-week?

I would think so since SUITS, SciSoc etc. require one but SULS may be different.

    What to bring to O-week?

Majority of societies, yes (90% of them). Some newer societies/clubs may make exceptions and the volunteering societies usually don't. Edit: I should note that even if you don't have an access card and wish to participate in club activities you can but you just have to pay a small non-Access...

    What to bring to O-week?

An access card to join clubs and societies & extra money to pay for membership fees and their merchandise eg. shirts. Search up some clubs/societies which might interest you on the USU website. I recommend a bottle of water and an umbrella if it rains like the other years.

    Textbooks

Best to wait to see what your lecturer/tutor says.

    Timetables

Yes, I'm serious - but you're asked to limit them to 15ish minutes. Practicals? Tiring but fun and some practicals are just so time consuming that if you don't organise it well you're going to have to stay back. Depends on the lab partner or group you have as well - if they stuff up that...

    Timetables

Practicals are mostly three to four hours straight every once a week or a fortnight - you get use to it and you can walk out of class and back in for a break (well at least for biology and molecular biology anyway).

    Timetables

Do you have consecutive classes? Yeah, most classes will be locked by the time classes start so there will be little chance to move around unless people drop out.

    Timetables

Up until the day Semester Begins so... March 2nd but you can switch tutorials up until the end of Week 1 granted that if it is possible (and if your tutorials start from Week 2 onwards)

USYD TIMETABLES ARE FINALLY OUT!! could you help me with mine

The system may just be down or in the unusual case it was released early again and they are waiting for the official date. Give it a few minutes and try again. People were able to access it so the system may just be down.

    Question about timetable

Yeah you only attend classes during those weeks. You're doing science right? First year will always be packed w/ little movement between classes or days off - it's normal. Not too bad for a timetable.

USYD TIMETABLES ARE FINALLY OUT!! could you help me with mine

Yes, some people can go through 9-4/5 without a break but I wouldn't recommend it. You need a break for sanity's sake (as well as for lunch and a breather).
