What on earth is this question asking

How does Eliot’s experimentation with form elevate his purpose? In your response, make detailed reference to the excerpt and to your prescribed text as a whole Do I have to refer to all 5 poems? Terrible wording tbh. Chatswood 2022

    nineteen eighty-snore

orwell is a little bastard, who was a socialist who was anti-socialist and snitched on all his friends to the government. 1984 is a dumb, nothing book. though, I did enjoy 'Keep the Aspidistra Flying' as a representation of the monotonous, capitalistic life he lived in. (not against socialism in...

    English HSC exams

me when i open my paper 1 on wednesday. describe how [enter really weird, strange, obscure, terrible piece of writing] explains the struggle of refugees. i bet refugees or like immigration or something. maybe the collective struggle of covid. who knows lmao.

    English Short Answer Inquiry

i have no clue, i think it comes down to lots of factors, the first one being writing really fast. i think i just have a knack for finding quotes that are good for analysis, so sad since I'm never going to be an english academic o_O. honestly kinda sucks when I sat there after trials with like...

    English HSC exams

English will be fine. My wrist hurts like hell though, probs got carpal tunnel syndrome from all the writing I've been doing.

    Anyone else burnt out/exhausted

I am so tired English is actually created by some evil monsters. Why cant we be like every other country, and have just comprehension skills as the normal english course. I do not care about Margaret Atwood, she is a terrible writer. No, 'Hag-seed' isn't good, it's terrrible. T.S Eliot is an...

    advanced english discursive?

I haven't ever seen a persuasive only out of the dozens of paper 2's i've done. I guess it's always possible... but its pretty similar to discursive in most manners, and it's definetely the easiest form to write (literally NAPLAN). I mean technically they can ask for informative, no?

    Doing HSC exam

I took an accelerated course and I felt much better than trials. Obviously, because your taking basically the same exam but with about 2-3 months of more study. HSC is also easier for most schools anyways... That is unless NESA decides to be a little exploratory (ahem, 2021 maths advanced...

    Mod C

heavily? I'd be careful with that. Simply because your not trying to become a NamLe.exe writing machine, the whole point of Module C is that you become your own writer with inspiration from the prescribed texts.

    External exams

yeah, and your internal marks would pull u up. (you would have whatever place you are's assessment mark) but... someone who has good internal rankings don't really 'bomb' exams. (unless something happens of course)

    Engineering Studies

actually have to agree so hard on this one. all the kids who do engineering studies in my school are kids who wanted to do physics but didnt have the mathematical capability.

    HSC English Word Count

Seems like an incredibly unreasonable standard given by your teachers... That's unfortunate. Atleast in externals you won't have an expected standard.

    HSC English Word Count

It all depends on Vall's length of quotes. If he's using full 17th length quotes, then his analysis will be weak. You want quality>quantity at the end of the day (I did pretty okay in trials, 93)

Were 2020 and 2021 HSC exams easier?

Difficulty shouldn't have changed - but I do feel as though HSC exams have been getting harder and harder every year. This year's trials felt much harder then 2020 and 2021 (atleast mine were), and this indicates the companies and schools are preparing for a harder HSC.

What is the difference between the HSC Raw mark and Aligned mark

Well, NESA obviously doesnt mark any intenral exams - but ALL of your internal exams are raw marks. The marks you get internally actually do not matter whatsoever, because they dont care about your mark, they care about your ranks. They dont use your mark anywhere, besides to allocate rankings...

What is the difference between the HSC Raw mark and Aligned mark

So raw mark is just the mark you would get if they marked everything. So what you get after you mark a practice paper, is a RAW mark. Some subjects are harder than others - and smarter students do harder subjects. Music 1, is easier relatively, then Maths Extension 2. So, in Music 1, students...

    HSC English Word Count

nah, definetely not 'most kids'. I could probably do 1200 for something like module b, but it's not needed, but those 'kids' you talk about are most likely waffling. you want your argument to be concise and to the point. above 800 words, it really doesn't matter.
