    Does God exist?

It’s kind of similar to our evolution in knowledge of a black hole. Back in the old days Scientists had many theories regarding why our observations of the galaxy are not consistent with our calculations, there were theories that existed and black holes was one of them. Just like God some...

    Does God exist?

See life does seem highly unlikely to occur. I remember reading soo many times how when cooling down even if something almost negligible was different the universe as we know it wouldn’t have existed. With that being said it’s not an objective proof. Objective proof would be for example if God...

    Does God exist?

Used to believe god exists because I was kinda forced to when I was younger. Science starts at a zero point assuming that we don’t know anything about the universe and then seeks evidence and experiments to prove anything we come up with. Whereas with god there is no objective proof of it’s...

BoS trials Maths and Chemistry 2020

Question 27 of the Chem Bos trial is like the same as Question 30 of the HSC. Question 35 of the Chem Bos trial is same as Question 29 of the HSC. What have we got going on here @jazz519...

    Maths band 4

According to the Raw Marks database it seems as long as you get in the 50s you should be set for a band 4.

Best English tutoring centres / tutors?

I’m sorry I don’t really have any recommendations but there are many great tutors that advertise themselves here on bos and they all have wonderful credentials. I suggest checking one of them out or like what I did get a tutor from a reference. Maybe a family friend or friend had a good private...

Best English tutoring centres / tutors?

English without a doubt I would recommend private tutoring. For other subjects such as Maths people go to group tutoring to better understand the content because their teacher isn’t that good or for a ton of resources. English requires much more personalised attention because it’s more than...

    2020-HSC chat

Internal marks mean nothing in sense of direct contribution. What matters is your rank and the gaps in marks between the ranks. Using how your cohort performed in the HSC exam NESA is able to compare your cohort to other schools cohorts and determine what your internal mark should be. It’s fair...

    HSC Physics Predictions / Thoughts

Just looking at the discussions here proving the good old saying to be true. - If it’s green or moves it’s biology. - If it smells it’s chemistry. - If it doesn’t make sense it’s Physics!

Fg between earth and the moon radius?

Yeah I was literally scratching my head thinking maybe I was cooked or something from studying. EDIT: My confusion was something completely different. I didn't get what question OP was asking

    Integral Calculus HELP PLZ

    Part two would be done as so I = \int_{0}^{2}x^3\sqrt{4-x^2}dx = \int_{0}^{2}x^2 \times x \sqrt{4-x^2}dx u^2 = 4 - x^2 \Rightarrow 2udu = -2xdx \Rightarrow udu = -xdx (x = 0, u = 2), (x = 2, u = 0) \text{Now rearranging the original Integral we can see how this u sub fits in} I =...

    Integral Calculus HELP PLZ

There's different ways you can do a) You can change x^2 to \bigg((1+x) - 1\bigg)^2 which after expanding will give you an integral with varying powers of (1+x) which you can integrate straight away. You can also do a u sub by letting x= \sin^2 (u) and then expanding to get varying powers of...

BoS trials Maths and Chemistry 2020

Why so. Remember BOS exams are generally designed to be harder than previous HSC exams. They’re good practise because they prepare you for tougher questions, so don’t be disheartened.

    Transfer to UNSW?

This I would say is inaccurate. Reason being the easier it is the less value it holds. I’m sure UNSW knows what grades are considered equal in different unis to the grades required to get into UNSW.

Fg between earth and the moon radius?

Your wording is very confusing. I really don’t understand what you’re asking.
