    UNSW Subject Reviews.

ANAT3121: Visceral Anatomy Ease: 6/10. This is a very content-heavy subject. There is a lot of information you have to absorb in a short period of time. Two lectures followed immediately by two labs are scheduled for each week. It's best for you to pre-read the labs ahead of each lecture/lab so...

    UNSW Subject Reviews.

ANAT3141: Functional Anatomy of the Limbs Ease: 8/10. There's a lot to cover and I guess you could say that with any other anatomy subject but it's easier than neuroanatomy which requires some more thorough understanding of theoretical concepts as opposed to functional anatomy which placed more...

Do we need to buy the CHEM1011 Blackman textbook and those other stuff?

Not really. Unless you want to be a student who has more comprehensive knowledge of the subject. But you can do well with just the lecture notes. I don't think you really need the SI Chemical Data book either. You can look up the values online.

    unsw ahegs

There's a sub-website you can find on the Curent Students website that tells you what is AHEGS approved. I'm wondering if being an executive member of a society is AHEGS approved but I'm thinking not. There are many Arc affiliated programs that are. A simple Google search should do it.

    Nervous to start uni

Tbh I feel like USYD gives off elitist vibes but that is a generalisation - I have incredibly great friends who welcome anyone regardless of background. Try and avoid those elitist types because you wouldn't want to mix with that type anyway. I think I great consolance is the fact that the USYD...

UNSW first year Medical Science Texbooks!

I borrow textbooks from the library and renew them like crazy. But some books are beautiful and are worth buying to keep.

    Recommendation for stationary: (pens)

I use a BIC cristal easy glide system pen in medium. Tbh I don't mind pens that run out moderately quickly because it gives me immense satisfaction to know I have done a lot of work. I don't go for fine point pens because the writing quality of medium ballpoints also adds to the experience :-P...

Post Your 2015 Sem 1 Timetable

Your timetable is pretty good when it comes to the location of back to back classes. You may be a little late (3-5 minutes) from red centre to CLB7 and CLB7 To the Quad. Classes usually start 5 minutes past the hour and end 5 minutes to but that can be variable if you have a rambling tutor or a...

Post Your 2015 Sem 1 Timetable

Time during breaks goes by very quickly. Especially if you share it with friends. And want to eat. I find it hard to get into the mood to study for an hour between classes. I think your timetable is pretty standard for science/law and you can prepare for labs during your breaks by pre-reading...

Where to re-fill water bottles on campus?

ASB tea rooms on each floor have cold filtered water and boiling water. Also, you can find bubblers all around campus inside the buildings such as the library, Wallace Wurth, Chemical Sciences building.
