I believe they use your GAMSAT primarily, and then GPA for tiebreaking. GEMSAS unis instead weight the GPA and GAMSAT equally. So apply to USYD if you crushed the GAMSAT

If you got a good GAMSAT score, then why don't you apply to USYD? They don't use GPA the same way other GEMSAS unis do

I used active recall and spaced repetition for the HSC and it worked really well (especially for Chemistry and Biology). I highly highly recommend you do this, but make sure you DO YOUR REVIEWS, otherwise there's no point
