Yea lol GPs make their diagnoses in like half a minute it's amazing. But I agree, it can feel like the consultation is rushed (even though they likely covered the important stuff)

I think they use the computer to check the current best treatment/dosages rather than checking symptoms

You mean for science in yr 9/10? I will be honest, 70% is sort of low (on medicine standards). Are you sure medicine is for you? Keep in mind, that it is very very competitive to get into medicine - and people who are hoping to get into medicines are usually getting 90/95%+ in exams.

Just to throw this out there though - medicine at UNSW is very very very competitive and you need an extremely high atar. I know they say you should choose your favourite subjects - but with the subjects you listed there, how sure are you that you can achieve (ideally) a mid-high 99 atar to be...

Guys dw, there is minimal maths in medicine. Outside public health (which is like super basics statistics) there is like no maths at all. The maths in public health is also really basic - I'd argue year 10 maths is sufficient. No heavy calculus involved haha. I'm not too sure why they wanted 2u...

You still need money to get started tho... And it's not like medicine excludes you from starting your business (e.g. say, opening your own practice)

The ATAR for UNSW/USYD will likely be a lot lower than 99.7 (or whatever their previous cutoff is) because of LSAT. If you didn't do LSAT then you can't receive offer from UNSW/USYD

Would mean those exams were similar difficulty. Haven't seen 2015 but I know 2014 was easier than years before and subsequently one of the least generous aligning (compared to previous years). Back when a low 90 could be close to state rank. I wish I did my HSC in those years haha.
