    General thoughts: HSC chemistry 2015

Anything should align better than last year... The aligning last year was just horrible :/ (unless the general trend is easier exams/easier marking)

    State Rank Raw Mark?

Nope, it was 96 (I am evidence) edit: nvm it was 95. (I forgot my own mark lmao)

    General Thoughts: Economics

Actually, BOP/CAD is pretty much the main focus in external stability (there are others, but BOP is a lot of it). Even though it specified "macro policies", you should still explain what BOP and CAD were (and other stuff in external stability) - that would've been the first half of your essay...

    General Thoughts: Economics

Thanks! Those questions seem fairly straightforward. I think I all these questions were listed as part of the predictions thread Drifting made. If you followed it, you should have aced this :)

    What were the essay questions?

    Can someone explain the J-curve?

It's in Riley's textbook if you have access to it (they explain it pretty well imo).

    Medicine Interviews 2015/16

Except for UNSW (in which your school submits an estimate for you), they don't know you're going to get x ATAR (this only affects your chances at second round interviews). First round interviews are all based off your UMAT :)

    Economics- HSC Essay predictions 2015

It is possible. Income inequality in topic 3 and inequality (in topic 1?) are slightly different topics. It might just be one of those curveball questions that bostes likes to use. (but if you've prepared for all the topics mentioned already I think you should be set since you have 2 options...

    Economics- HSC Essay predictions 2015

Also, watch out for the *out of nowhere* topic 3 questions (much like last year's inflation question). They did it 2 years ago for unemployment. They're not hard to prepare for (and you should know them well anyway) so study those just to be safe (you can skip inflation though). Yea eco growth...

How much weighting is put towards UNSW Application Form?

No weighting - they don't mark it or anything. It's just something used to gain an initial impression/set up questions which may be critical to your interview performance (which is 33%).

    Official BOS Trial 2015 Thread

I scored like just above 50 for this exam. I cried myself to sleep for many days afterwards :( (just kidding these exams are hard - expect your mark to be pretty low but don't let it intimidate you from trying!). I ended up scoring 97 hsc for 4u :)

    UMAT 2015 Discussion Thread

Ah in that case, I'm not sure about non-standard applications sorry :(

    UMAT 2015 Discussion Thread

You could get into med if you wanted to lol (provided you get OP1)

    UMAT 2015 Discussion Thread

You should get a 2nd round but not a 1st round interview. Last year, cutoff for 1st round interviews for interstate applicants was 95 umat lol

    UMAT 2015 Discussion Thread

Dayum. Who cares though your results means nothing regardless :D (because you don't sit umat to transfer between med courses...)

I called them and they said I wasn't in :p

    UMAT 2015 Discussion Thread

I wish. I scored 151 as GWS using that formula last year and I didn't even receive an interview :'( I think they completely excluded S3 altogether in the formula

    UMAT 2015 Discussion Thread

Maybe if you're lucky. It might go down for all you know

    UMAT 2015 Discussion Thread

I'd say 90+ percentile (that way, you score an interview at *most* places).
