Advice from a graduated HSC student on how to excel in After the Bomb (essay writing)

Re: Advice from a graduated HSC student on how to excel in After the Bomb (essay writ Hey :) I think a good ATB essay length is 1200-1500 words :) I've been doing that length for most of my assessments and I am a student of strawberrye. She just tells me that I should be answering the...

    Case Study

Pretty sure it won't hurt to know the relevant statistics :) However, your should be more focused on supplying the necessary information and answering the question as opposed to trying to fit in as much as you know about your case study :) Good luck with section Iv!

Help with HSC Please! :( I'm going so crap at it...

Hey ragemaster1, Your current situation may seem deplorable, but please do not despair. Every cloud has its silver lining, and I'm sure it's soon to come! :) Please see a councillor or a friend about these negative feelings. These feelings eat at you constantly, sometimes leaving you a hollow...

    Good tv shows

I agree- the first season just exudes a raw sense of authenticity that subsequent seasons fail to capture! TBH the first two seasons are the ones that I prefer just because of the well-thought out cast. Cassie got cheated on by Sid, so I guess her innocence was kinda 'wrecked'. Plus, when she...

    What are you currently Reading?

I started reading "From Russia with Love" Having studied ATB (After the Bomb) and Spy Who Came in From the Cold, reading this novel will surely enrich my understanding of the Cold War period! And, of course, have a good taste of Ian Fleming's literature! :D

    Good tv shows

The first season is the best! :D Cassie's really awesome as well, she's been compared to 'Ophelia' of Hamlet many times! The third 'generation' was quite a big disappointment... :L

    Good tv shows

Skins is the best teen drama I've watched in my life. When I watch this show, I literally can apply everything I've learned in English. Some of the lines are so poetic, the characters are multifaceted and the plot is really interesting to follow! If you are old enough, I suggest you take a look...

    Submission soon!

Good luck with everyone submitting tomorrow! I'm nervous as heck :/ I don't even know what external mark to expect-- apparently internals aren't a good indication of what you'll get externally.

    Urgent?

I actually went on holidays term 1, year 12 (which is term 4, year 11). As long as you can catch-up with work when you come back, why not? :)

What makes english extension 1 good/bad and do you recommend doing it?

What makes english extension 1 good/bad and do you recommend doing it?

Hey grapess! Please don't apologise!! We're both stating our opinions here and your opinion is as valid as mine, no questions asked. When considering your opinion, it SHOULD be considered that cumulative study of the modules leads to a subconscious familiarisation with the concepts. (e.g...

    stats in extended responses?

It depends heavily on the question. If you are doing a finance question, yes it would be beneficial to incorporate some RELEVANT statistics. That said, you should be wary that you are meant to be ANSWERING THE QUESTION, not explaining your chosen case study in detail. What I mean here is that...

    First Hsc Assessment

Hello liendang :) It depends on your school's scope and sequence. My first HSC INTERNAL assessment was in late November (if I remember it correctly).

    Speech Pathology

Hello University Section of BOS, This is quite exciting, as it is my first time to post in this thread! :D I've wanted to do Speech Pathology since Year 10 and I've always been interested in helping people gain confidence with their speaking. Anyway, I was just wondering what it was...

What makes english extension 1 good/bad and do you recommend doing it?

Hello! I'm EarthSci34 and I do 4-Units of English. However, I enjoy English Extension I the most out of all the english subjects I've undertaken (including creating my major work, which is still heaps fun btw)! English Extension I is an exciting opportunity to see your limits as an English...
