    Just wondering..

I'll be frank. An arts degree isn't worth much. in fact it doesn't qualify you for anything except for probably public service jobs, and a few other niches where employers look for any tertiary educated graduates and skim the top from there. (it's rare to find arts graduates to go through...

    Science at Macquarie University

You're better off applying to CSU. They're more inclined to give bonus marks to those who live in rural/regional Australia.

    Law at UWS: any good?

It's not as prestigious as the sandstone universities, but it will still entitle you to apply for a license to practice as a solicitor. I have heard of budget cuts to the law faculty, and that many law electives were slashed... then they decided to give out free ipads to all the first year...

    People at Macq

hahhhaha. like everywhere else, there are lots of different kinds of people. i dont think so. there won't be a study group that actively tries to take the same classes together for all the semesters. generally people just tend to stick to themselves. they might try talk to the people sitting...

just park in a residential street and walk the 10-15 minutes to campus. good exercise. where do you live? i know a girl who lived in the central coast who came to Macq.. that took her about an hour and a half. she ended up transferring to newcastle as that was quicker supposedly.

    Can i get accepted?

you can do that access scheme, write a letter to the dean. i read in the paper about some sort of a white paper wanting more students from the west to come and study at USYD. i guess they didn't like being known as the uni for eastern suburbs / north shore students.

I recieved an early offer letter from uws. What does that mean?

you can put uws last and you'll still get an offer from them. but if you wanted to apply for an early offer, (check uac and see when their early offers are made), then put it in as your first pref. otherwise just move it to last and you should still get in.

Bachelor of science/ bachelor of arts: how does it work? Is it stressful

its not harder, it just takes longer. you still do the 4 unit subject loading, will just take you longer.

    Law Career Questions Needing Answers!

I would suggest for the OP to have the intellectual honesty and the intellectual integrity to just come out and say it. To which I would suggest that there are better things to study if the primary motivation is money. I will say that most lawyers do not make much money, considering the...

    Law Career Questions Needing Answers!

    1) If you're talking about top tiers, I know solicitors who now work in top tier firms who graduated from many universities, including UWS, Macq and UNE. 2) Yes and No, depends on how well you manage your time and how much you procrastinate. Generally a 4 subject load will be 10 hours per...
