    First off, by receiving an acceptance into the school already puts you around top 20% of the cohort. And yes, just try your hardest, maintain your progress whilst others may fall, because that's the time you'd actually shine. And lastly, are you going to pick up 4U in Year 12?

    So... for example, Student A got an ATAR of 99.2, and Student B got an ATAR of 98.3. They both did commerce however Student B received a HD whilst Student A received a D, so, which plays a major role? Atar or WAM? And which student would be offered the place?

    Basically it's a fancy way of describing prefixes and suffixes for organic carbon compounds, e.g. Hexane - Hexene - Hexyne. And the rules applied to deriving the chemical formulas for these substances. This may not be everything, but it is definitely a part of it.
