I think you actually have to complete your cores before you can go exchange? You need to be at the elective stage. For a Com/Law degree that is usually 3rd Year Sem 2 or 4th Year Sem 1. However, Commerce students can go in 2nd Year Sem 2.

^ +1 ATAR doesn't mean anything tbh. It's just a number and often people achieve their ATARs because they do courses with high scaling and those courses might not even be related to their degree.

Yeap only for law cause our lectures still run in Week 13 whereas Commerce lectures end in Week 12 :)

Um assuming this refers to law reading week? It just means there are no law classes scheduled for that week. Doesn't really benefit first years haha. It does benefit us 4th years :P

The 5th edition was released sometime last year so you might be able to find someone who is selling it 2nd hand.

Yeap sounds about right. The first digit usually responds to floor level and the remaining digits the actual room number on that floor. So 4113 as you said is Level 4 of Red Centre and room 113. :)

Yes law does get better. LAWS1052 is a poor reflection of the rest of the law degree. Hell if I based my decision whether or not to continue with law on LAWS1052, I be shooting myself right now. As you progress through your law degree, you will encounter law courses you hate and courses you...

You can probably drop it unofficially now by unenrolling out of LAWS1052 and into another commerce course. Then speak to student services how you would go about dropping the degree. You usually have to wait 1 year before you can really transfer out of anything.

So sorry I been busy the last few days with work :P Didn't see this thread. If there's a new edition you are going to need it. The worst thing for law is using an out dated edition of a book. Even current edition books are out of date! So using an older edition is a huge risk!

For the first few weeks of Sem 1 you want to arrive before 8:15 if you want to get to uni before 9. A massive line starts after 8:15. Monday is also the worst day :)
