    Evaluate the effectiveness????

When discussing the effectiveness of the law, you're basically describing how the law managed to address the effectiveness criteria set out in the legal studies syllabus, which is: - protection of an individual's rights - enforceability - application of the law etc etc You can find evidence to...

    Should I drop Bio????

Unless you aren't doing too great in bio I reckon you should keep it If you want to drop a subject drop the one you're getting the lowest marks in or the subject you dislike the most 13 units is achievable in the HSC though, it requires a lot more work but its rewarding if you're doing well and...

    2u vs 3u

I just felt like I was putting so much effort into it and not improving by much (60% to 65%), so I wanted to focus on subjects that I was getting better marks in

    2u vs 3u

See how much you like it by the end of Yr11 and choose from there. You've got plenty of time. In all honesty I regret dropping 3U, so unless you're failing or absolutely dread it, I'd give it a chance. Even if your course only requires 2U, if you're enjoying the subject then by all means keep...

    Advanced Math Year 11 2018

If you're in either the middle or top maths classes for yr10 and you're doing okay, then I'd say give advanced maths a chance - you could improve at it and do very well. Maybe wait until your first or second exams and if you're getting above 80% in each then definitely keep it. That being said...

Anyone know what raw marks I would have to get to get a state ranking in legal studies or society and culture? Or even just a scaled mark of 97+?

Flashcards are pretty neat, I've only used them once but they worked well. They're probably better for science-based subjects since a long-explanation probably won't fit on the card. Going over notes, writing a glossary of terms and defining words without looking at their definitions can work...

Creative writing: prepare one or wing it

Yeah definitely prepare one, and keep giving your drafts to your teacher for feedback until you're both confident it's a solid 19 or 20/20 or whatever its getting marked out of

    Please Help Me!

Speaking from personal experience, I'd still highly recommend seeing a councillor or psychologist, just to see if they are of any help. It might not seem like much but having that extra support can work wonders All the best :)

    Defences

Defences can be effective because they ensure that people aren't wrongly convicted for their actions. Some may not have been able to control their actions (e.g. involuntary behaviour or automation, duress, diminished responsibility) or they may not have had the criminal intent necessary for them...

Same here :( Are yours all in the one week or are they across week 8 and 9? Haha same here. The next couple of weeks are gonna be busy as heck To de-stress, I recommend listening to calm music, reading, punching stuff (pillows are great, walls aren't), drinking tea, and playing video games if...

    Studying with/without music?

Yeah definitely I find that I usually listen to different genres depending on the topic, e.g. maths - trap, hard style; art - rock; legal studies - either trap or rock
