    Semester 2 Chatter Thread 2014.

Upon further calculations, it seems that if I didn't do advanced, my raw mark would be ~85.7 which is consistent with my mark. Perhaps for SSP, you get the better mark of either SSP or advanced weightings.

    Semester 2 Chatter Thread 2014.

Also seems that CHEM2404 scaled from 86.3-->87. In either case, it's pretty small.

    Semester 2 Chatter Thread 2014.

CHEM2915 scaled up 84.6-->86. So basically, next to no scaling.

    What makes a guy/girl UNattractive?

I was thinking of loud headphones on trains when I wrote that.

    What makes a guy/girl UNattractive?

I should also add loud headphones that can be heard 1 km away.

    What makes a guy/girl UNattractive?

Very dumb (that it gets annoying), overly materialistic, smoking, drugs, excessive drinking.

    picking 2 majors?

You just need to do the units for your major - your final year will probably be all major units. http://sydney.edu.au/handbooks/science/coursework/b_science/b_science.shtml

    Semester 2 Chatter Thread 2014.

JD was always 3 years, I think. If it wasn't, it would be kinda lame to do LLB when you can get JD.

    Socialist Alternative Nuisances?

They produced Tony Abbot so they are worse by default. Agreed with this.

    Question Help please!

The correct answer is B. When the bar rolls down, there's a change of flux in the closed loop so a current is induced (b to c through the conducting bar) - this current also produces magnetic flux in the same direction as the provided magnetic flux so flux density increases. You are making the...

Does the standard solution go into the burette or the conical flask?

As long as you do the calculations accordingly, it really doesn't matter. However, it's typically preferred to put the standard in the burette because if you are working with multiple samples, you want to just refill the burette after each test - if you put your unknown there, you'd have to...

Changing units of study for sem 2 in sydney student.

Some fuckhead removed me from GEOS2921 because I didn't satisfy prerequisites - they didn't even bother adding me to GEOS2121 where I do satisfy prerequisites...and I can't figure out how to add a unit. Same, I don't have any options to change units - no trash cans, no undo selections, no add...

    Regarding inertial frames

For things inside the space shuttle, it's an inertial frame of reference since they are all accelerating together.

A tricky Physics question I thought about

Not relevant - that is the speed relative to the centre of the Earth - aging depends on speed relative to each other.

A tricky Physics question I thought about

The one on the ground would tick slower - gravitational time dilation. I don't think there's relative motion between them.
