Marks in maths topic tests in selective schools???

I go to a top 30 selective high school. For 3U trials the majority of raw marks were <60% with the highest being 96 iirc, for half yearlies it was a similar story. But then again, my school tends to set exams slightly on the more difficult side.

    Medicine is shit!!!

From the UQ website: If this is what you meant then yeah sorry to burst your bubble. If medicine had a guaranteed entry scheme anywhere (directly in as an undergrad) then people including myself would apply like crazy. But alas~

how to find points of intersection

Let: px + qy = qx + py (as both are equal to 1) py - qy = px - qx y(p-q) = x(p-q) Cancelling common factor (p-q), you get y = x. Hence although p and q are variable, both lines will nevertheless intersect on the line y = x.

How my internal marks are calculated??

Strong derail. Basically in OP's case, your internal mark would be reflected by your performance in the externals, so getting 95 in externals (for example) would make your internals roughly the same, and vice-versa in the case of a poor external performance.

    UMAT Preparation Advice

Hey, I was in a pretty similar position to you back then, what with brain bee state finals and all. IMO if you're serious about med then the cost of medentry and the like is just a small speck compared to the extremely rewarding experience you might potentially get from med. After all, UMAT...

Need an atar reality check please/Very rough estimate

Rough estimate At worst, high 60s - best: probably high 70s. But of course, this could improve after externals.
