Med or Combined Law more difficult to get into?

I think the same can be said for all races. When one has money, the natural tendency is to to show off. This can be said for black people who like to buy bling and fancy cars to elevate their social status.

    Accounting or Finance?

Hey even if you did do a combined degree, you would still be eligible for the professional qualification as long as you do all the courses required for the CPA/CA certification. As long as you follow the Commerce(Accounting) major in UWA, you would be able to go down the CA/CPA path route when...

    Electives

If you want a more female-orientated elective that is not too difficult, try some psychology, political science or artsy subject.

    Dilemma: MACQ or USYD

Hmmm, many people pick their law schools in this order USYD/UNSW--> UTS --> MACQ --> UWS I have no access to actual stats on whether UTS is a good law school but it seems to be a social norm on BoS that transferrees want to move from UWS/MACQ to UTS. Also UTS has a higher cutoff than the...

ANU VS. MACU - Commerce Urgent!

Yes I am saying: Credit= 65 to 74 Distinction= 75-84 So a high credit would be 73+. And yes, ANU isn't renowned for commerce, however, I have heard good things about MACQ's commerce faculty. Apparently, actuarial studies is really good. Personally OP, I wouldnt move down specially to...

    Dilemma: MACQ or USYD

You can either do political science course and try to transfer to the combined law course. Since it is a new course, there might be less competition in that course to get HDs (though I could be very wrong). Or you can take up the combined law course at MACQ and try to transfer to combined law...

Med or Combined Law more difficult to get into?

Haha not if you read the threads I'm reading :P Also lots of bogans and year 10 dropouts on the education forum.

Med or Combined Law more difficult to get into?

I didn't realise you would be that offended. It's more internet colloquial and after months of using the BoS and whirlpool forums, I have developed a bad tongue on the internet. I'm particularly annoyed especially when people ask questions like "How to transfer to law from BCom" when it can be...

Med or Combined Law more difficult to get into?

. Wrong, some places like UNSW take the GPA/ATAR combo. This is taken from the UNSW med website: So what you get for your ATAR affects your transfer chances As stated previously, if an applicant has a ATAR of less than 90.00, their tertiary results can never be sufficient to raise their...

    Uni Cheap Eats Guide

How about USyd? I'm going to live on-campus so any suggestions would be nice. Also, I like thai food and sausages.

HELP! - PHARMACY - USYD or UNE ?

I would take the plunge and go to USyd because you get to experience city life and also meet new people. The 6k a year isn't much and you can move out of college after first year to reduce costs. Good luck hun :)

second year uni scarier then the first?!?!? oh no

Lol funny thing, I dreamt I was in my first lesson of Foundations of Law, and no one wanted to talk to me.

Transfer to USYD law after 3rd year.

It would be 1 year studies all up, regardless of whether it is law studies or combined.

    PDF versions of textbooks.

Yep I prefer to buy all my textbooks, I like the hardcopy and hate reading into the computer for many hours. I guess this luxury of e-Books (university textbooks) is not available widely in Australia as of yet.

    do we have to apply...

Since your unilodge contract is one year long, you should apply for residential colleges in september/oct/nov. Then they'll offer you a contract again and you would have to pay a bond, etc...

Transfer to USYD law after 3rd year.

Hey, I just read the UNSW page. It seems UNSW only allows a maximum of one year studies to transfer, so I don't think that's an option. Usually it's 50/50 ATAR/GPA. One would have higher chances transferring at UNSW than USyd because UNSW seems more 'compassionate'. For HSC school leavers...
