I've been to both private and selective schools, and there are both good and bad teachers at both. There are some teachers at selective schools who are terrible, and expect that the class knows everything because they assume they get tutored/coached. In saying that, I've encountered terrible...

It's not the hours that count.. its how much effective study that gets done that counts.. Study smart, not hard.

I've seen permutations and combinations questions in a year 11 3 unit half yearly from Hornsby Girls.. I don't think they do the topics in order.

lol, I can find it in the Cambridge 3 unit HSC book... I don't know what year mine is.. but it says it was first published in 2000, and reprinted in 2001 and 2002 on the copyright page..

Also doing Utopia for Ext. english and that book is really hard to understand.

Probably, depending on the school you currently attend, they'll probably only just covered the first few chapters of the textbook (ie mainly revision from the past few years)
