    English is stupid

Take Chem. There's so much emphasis on skills and practicals (reliability etc.) and social and environmental issues, that it probably forms 20% of a test's marks. And even then, knowing the content is like 20% of the challenge/what's required to ace Chem. So so much emphasis is on verbs...

    English is stupid

Some of the articles are so fucking stupid, it's unbelievable. I'd expect better from a tutoring company with the resources and money to give proper tips.

HSC Sciences are a load of BS too, so should we abolish them?

Beautiful. Resorting to violence. That's the way right? Just the same that you wanted to do with iSplicer.

    English is stupid

Dude are you fucking retarded? What language are you typing in? What language are you reading in?

    English is stupid

Well English gives me a fighting chance against international students as well as people who are only good at maths and science, so it's a decent subject. :)

Hmm, I'll just argue as much as possible. It doesn't make sense starting off with 48 when probably about 8-10 of those will drop too, and the school gets about 20-25 E4's every year.

Yep I'll fight for it, since imo, they should start off with 3 classes and drop people later if they are struggling. Like even in the first place, maximum 65 even want to try it out.

Year 12 2012 Chit Chat Thread

Guys, is the school allowed to have start off with 2 classes for MX2 (48 people), when: a) There are 4 qualified MX2 teachers, same as previous years. b) The past 2 cohorts have started off with approximately 80 (2012) and 100 (2011) people doing MX2. c) The current 2012 cohort, even after...

Although it is pointless to make comprehensive notes for Chem imo when you've got *good people's* notes. For Chem I'll probs summarise to like 2-3 pages per module or something, reallly really condensed.

Now you're making me consider my decision to make notes... I think I'll still make notes for Eco since it's a contemporary course, as with Legal (comprehensive notes - 120+ pages). But for Chem, since the content's the same, I doubt I'll make notes.

It's possible to condense the notes. (Lol condensation polymerisation.) Use acronyms, key trigger words for responses, don't make notes on the calculations and skills portions of the course.

Hmm, well which notes do you look over?

Talk about inefficient, determine's Economics notes are 90,000 words for the entire course. I have Lenny's, and they are about 60,000 - and he says that if you want to cover everything, your notes need to be of a similar length. Everyone in his grade doing Economics has similar sized notes. I...
