I don't really get how to do this though. And don't really get the point of it. How are you supposed to use the articles from papers/magazines? Use the stats from them like every other stat? I'm just confused about that.

Hmm, fair enough. But since the statistics itself are the same (name of statistic) in each edition of the textbook, couldn't you research them? Like Gini Coefficient would be in each of the textbooks.
