Does this happen to you in lectures??

Just look towards her direction but past her, not directly at her face as if you're looking for a friend or something.
  2. *rUsTy*

I'm sorry, but this is FREAKING AWESOME.

That's a pretty good deal. How do you pay though? Need a credit card or something I'm guessing.

    Buy and Sell thread

Re: Buy and Sell thread - Sem 1 and 2 Lol yeah that's the one but unfortunately you're about a week late :P I'm sure someone out there would appreciate it though.

    Bookstore Line

Will definately be going early when I'm there next.

    Bookstore Line

The line today was INSANE! There was no way I was going to wait in it for what I estimate to be at least 2 hours.

    Bookstore Line

Crap... but I don't wanna get there that early! lol

    Buy and Sell thread

Re: Buy and Sell thread - Sem 1 and 2 Jeez, I calculated the cost of my text books and wow... so pricey. Especially Educational Psychology - $130?! The rest are decently priced I suppose. So I guess my question is, does anyone have a second hand copy? :P Don't think the edition matters too...

    Orientation Day

Well my mentor this week didn't seem to know very much at all :P
  9. *rUsTy*

    So how do tutorials work?

Really wish I would have known that before making my timetable lol.

    MQ General chatter thread

Grr, the lecture for one of my units in Semester 2 is full. Yep, the one and only lecture. People at enrolment today said just to keep it and go to it regardless and just to register for the tute... is that allowed?

    don't understand Mq orientation

Academic Orientation is on the week starting the 15th. You only go one day at a certain time depending on your course. Classes start on the 22nd but it's called O-Week because, well it's when new people start and you can sign up for stuff during then. Go to this website to register for your...

    Macq Uni Dates

Go to this, Home | Transition: Academic Orientation and Mentor Program | Macquarie University. You only go one day that week, depending on your course. You have to register on that site and it will tell you the day, time and location.

Better to have tutes after or before lectures?

Oh... well I just thought it was discussing the topic/readings of the week in tutes and if you happened to have seen the lecture already, then stuff from that as well. So I suppose it doesn't matter. Oh and to Mac people who see this, do they have proposed program forms at enrolment day or do...

Better to have tutes after or before lectures?

Running into some clash troubles in my timetable and wondering is it really necessary to have tutes after the lecture or doesn't it matter.

    True Blood

Yeah but how obvious did they make it lol. Up until that last episode you wouldn't have guessed him but suddenly he acts all suspicious and they play creepy music when he's around. Season 1 was good but Season 2 was better and it ended better. Such a long wait for Season 3 though! :(

    How many units per semester?

Ah ok. Well I'm going to make sure but since I got credit from previous study I'm assuming I can go without electives, for at least the first year anyway. I'll double check when I go to academic advising though.

    How many units per semester?

Excellent. Sounds more appealing than 4 units per semester.

    Credit for Previous Studies

That's weird. They let me hand in photocopies. Maybe it's because I handed them in, in person and they verified the originals on the spot.
  19. *rUsTy*

    Credit for Previous Studies

If you've completed a tertiary qualification of any sort (Degree, Diploma etc.) then you can tell Macquarie and they can take credit points from your proposed Mac course.
  20. *rUsTy*

    NCCWs?

Yeah I think you can do it but you only get credit for one of them. So 3 credit points not 6 meaning essentially you're just doing it for fun I guess.
