I'm in the middle of picking a 4th unit for the 1st and 2nd semesters. I'm receiving credit for previous study so I think I can get away without doing some electives so I thought instead of just leaving it at 3 units that it might be a good time to get at least one of the People/Planet units out...

Personally I'm doing AHIS170 because I want to major in Egypt/Near East. So that's what I based it on. I'm considering doing 110 as an elective but am a bit weary that doing 2 history units could be a lot of work.

So I looked at my textlists for the units I'm thinking of enrolling in and I noticed that it says status and then either Reccomended or Text. I'm guessing the ones that say Text are the compulsary ones? EDIT: Oh wait nevermind, that's what it says on the bottom :P

Oh so I could do that even though it's not part of my planned major? That's cool, I might look into that.

Oh right cool :P Just realised if I pick Egypt and Near East I might have to learn Hieroglyphs *gulp* hope it isn't too hard! lol Migh be fun though.

I had no idea books would add up to cost this much. Maybe it's better to wait until classes to see if they're actually compulsary or reccomended. I wouldn't want to fork out so much money for a book that isn't completely necessary...

HSC I think. I got an early January offer (non-HSC student) and I'm not on the list.

Macqurie's enrolment stuff is the week before O-Week. Academic Advising is compulsary.
