    Selection Rank vs ATAR

Basically if you match the criteria outlined by the uni you can pretty safely assume you got the adjustment factors. Let's say "If you live within the uni area you get 5 adjustment factors". Let's say you get a 90 ATAR. Your selection rank will be 95.

    4.5 over 7 GPA??

A 4.5 GPA isn't really hard even for a full time study load. Given that you're an average student you'll most likely be able to reach that provided you study well and take your assignments/exams seriously.

    Selection Rank vs ATAR

From UAC: Your selection rank is your ATAR plus any adjustments made by a university. Adjustments are used to increase your selection rank due to factors such as your performance in HSC subjects, the location of your school, or your eligibility for Educational Access Schemes

IT IS OFFICIAL. EASIEST ADVANCED ENGLISH EXAM IN 23 YEARS

True. Do you think marking will be affected by that?

IT IS OFFICIAL. EASIEST ADVANCED ENGLISH EXAM IN 23 YEARS

I'm gonna have to disagree with this. I think our paper was quite hard and memes were everywhere lol. Even NESA's wikipedia page was modified by angry students

    What is this technique??

It sounds like a personification as the thoughts are given a human trait (the ability to run). An anthropomorphism is the attribution of human characteristics or behaviour to a god, animal, or object (i.e. more than one characteristic). Thoughts are given only one human trait in this quote...

    Is it worth it?

It's a good thing you decided what you want to study at uni. Based on this, advanced maths won't be relevant to your law studies, not that general maths will be either. But if you're planning on keeping maths as a subject then definitely consider dropping to standard.

    Predicted ATAR

never heard of something like this tbh

should I keep advanced maths?? urgent!!

I think it might be a bit early to drop it now. Probably keep it for now and try to do your best in year 12. If it doesn't work, then dropping would be the solution.

HSC Subjects (what should I drop)

    Good luck!

HSC Subjects (what should I drop)

Congrats 👏. You're planning on keeping all your subjects?

HSC Modern History or Business Studies?

I had a similar experience: In year 11 I was really interested in Earth and Environmental Science but I later realised it was way too much for me, so I dropped it after the year 11 yearly exam. My marks weren't that great either (between high 70s and low 80s). I feel Business Studies will give...

Is it possible to transfer within unis?

The GPA is an average of all grades you received in your course (e.g. high distinctions, distinctions, passes, fails and so on). Each one is given a numerical value and the values are then averaged. Popular GPA scales include the 4-scale and the 7-scale. The WAM is a more precise measurement of...

Bad ranks... can I get an 80 atar?

Yes it's possible, provided you perform well in the rest of your exams (bio and ancient specifically)
  16. thetestdude

    Estimate my ATAR please

    I think that's definitely possible
  17. thetestdude

    Estimate my ATAR please

I think a 70 ATAR is not out of reach, but I'm not sure how likely it is. Try to to do well in externals to increase your chance of getting a 70+ ATAR.
