If you are ranked second, and you get the highest exam mark, that 'highest mark' will be your exam mark. Your assessment mark will be approximately (usually the same) the second highest exam mark.

He never said it was a question in the assignment, most likely an outcome being assessed.

Do a lot of practice. Once you have done enough, you will know when to use a theorem, and you will remember them all. You will begin to know which theorem may be used based on the information given. Just keep practising.

Even if you dont come first, it shoudlnt be a problem as there are only 3 people. As long as you all do relatively well no one should be affected too much.

Just do that. Just talk abou a modern use for most of the electromagnetic spectrum. i.e. Light in fibre optics, radio waves in radios (:D), microwaves in.....get the idea?

Really good ranks, hopefully you do keep them :D Also teachers will never tell you that the most important part is to beat everyone else (not usually), but rather to do your best in terms of mark. Which is right to a degree, but ranks are also very important.

Even this BoS is OK as you get many opinions and can derive most of the truth out of information from others. People here take criticism and their understanding of the HSC changes, but try telling your teacher their understanding is dead wrong...

Tbh I have never heard a consistent theory of the hsc from teachers. Every one of them has something to add/take away.

Why don't you try, and then put it up for someone to look at instead of asking for a straight answer?

50 HSC papers from 1995-1999? Do the math. And starshine, there are answers for most papers, so more like 25ish papers.
