If OP gets the scholarship that gives out industry experience.. I think he/she will be getting a far better deal than he/she would going to Usyd NSW UTS MQ. if the ABL thing doesnt offer that.. then abandon that option. If the ABL thing does give that option then please go right head.

Ask around various employers.. I did it back in yr 12 and macquarie was preferred over sydney. however it should be noted this was in the area of accounting and it may not include the areas of marketing and management.

My friend who spent 2 years at tafe for accounting ( i dont know the name of the cert but i know FOR sure that he spent 2 years there) got a shit load of exemptions.. the only ones he didnt get were macro/micro intro courses and 3 rd year level subjects.
