Transfer to USYD Engineering and credits?

The uni only considers tertiary history of 1 year full time equivalent or greater.

Transfer to USYD Engineering and credits?

1: yes. If a subject you passed at another university is "reasonably close" in terms of syllabus, length you get credit for the equivalent unit at usyd 2: you apply, http://sydney.edu.au/engineering/forms/Credit_Application_for_Previous_Study.pdf 3: uac create an equivalent ATAR based on...

Why are economic degrees in the art faculty?

From http://sydney.edu.au/business/about/history New Directions On 1 January 2011, the University of Sydney began implementing a major new strategy in relation to teaching and research in business and the social sciences. Under these changes, the Discipline of Economics, the Centre for...

MATH1011 Instead of MATH1001 For Engineering.

MATH1001 etc is the compulsory core for BE students. Only in exceptional circumstances (eg did General Maths at high school) are students allowed to do MATH1011 instead of MATH1001. Which stream of engineering (eg Chemical, Civil etc) are you doing?

Late round offer, canceling Main round enrollment?

Can I suggest that if you ask the official faculty office, and the person who answers is an official university employee whose job it is to advise students on the correct procedures, that it probably is "right".

Late round offer, canceling Main round enrollment?

Technically true, but having an enrolment of 48 credit points in 2 degrees will completely stuff the timetable system, and you are likely to get a timetable from hell. Hence strongly recommend that the degree and units are dropped by about 10 Feb well before timetable go live.

Can I drop a course at anytime (before census date)

Terminology Do you want to drop the 'course" (ie entirely leave uni and the entire degree') or do you want to drop an individual unit of study (ie one subject). I suspect it is the latter (dropping an individual unit of study, based on some of the subsequent posts) Answer is yes. However...

Can I drop a course at anytime (before census date)

Read rule 1, esp rule 1c, at http://sydney.edu.au/handbooks/engineering/rules/faculty_resolutions.shtml And I would suggest starting a new thread for a question that is not relevant to the original thread title.

Why don't some Engineering course plans need physics?

There is sufficient equivalent content in other units in that menu to cover most of it (eg Dynamics)

    First February Round Offers

Approx 1000 or a few more.
  11. E

    First February Round Offers

Yes. USyd makes offers in what was used to be called "Final Round", but now called February round 1. There are very few offers made in that round - eg in 2013 usyd made about 10000 main round offers and about 300 final round.

URGENT:What happens if you dont go to your enrolment day?

Each faculty has different policies. If this was an engineering offer, the student would be probably be told not to worry, and turn up for Round 2 day, and enrol then. However other degrees, particularly those which are popular and have strict physical constraints on the number of students...

URGENT:What happens if you dont go to your enrolment day?

I would be interested to know what the outcome was.

URGENT:What happens if you dont go to your enrolment day?

UNSW or USYD. You said health science at Usyd.

URGENT:What happens if you dont go to your enrolment day?

No one BOS officially represents or answers for the university of Sydney, so no answer you receive today is going to provide you with 100% satisfaction. Sit down and relax. There is absolutely nothing you can do between now and 10 am tomorrow. Give them a polite call tomorrow morning...

    Engineering at USYD: Maths.

    Engineering at USYD: Maths.

Assumed knowledge is 3u, so you have done that, which is good. However you are likely to have gone about rusty on some stuff. Download the 3u and 2u 2012and 2013 HSC maths exams and try to do them. That might give you a guide as to which areas you have to do some extra work. That said...
