Yes workstation 10 isn't required for WoWPOS SCO. It was only required for NCR SCO. The picklist editor has been replaced with the normal Item Groups in Systems Operator menu of StoreLine. I'm pretty sure the weight database, pictures etc were stored on workstation 10 with NCR SCO (hence why...

Should have said.... none that are documented, however changes to customer GUI are more likely in the next major store release (ie. Store Release 10.0) Haven't heard how far away this is, will try and get some info.

Policy says staff must exit through a point designated by the store manager (during trading hours) and through the staff entry/exit door (outside trading hours) Re WoWPOS SCO changes in 9.3: "ATM Add Loan" and "ATM Pickup" items have been removed from the ATM menu in the WoWPOS SCO...

If you are in plain clothes + a normal MJM supermarkets badge, you can :-) Regional/Area staff can access most applications from home via Citrix. Not sure if they can get HOST, but they can definitley access WoWNet (which encompasses StoreNet), Outlook (for corporate email), and i'm pretty...

I'm going to get the management shirt. I have a feeling they are going to replace the supervisor vests. According to Total Image Group "These will not be available for delivery until Jan next year. The different is this is a stripe pattern only to be worn by managers."

If you need to notify service cashiers about pickups, why not use the Register Messages function in StoreLine? Works very well, cashiers have no excuses and no need to announce it over the PA :-)

Service 50 is no longer for pickups, as it is a breach of policy (as per Front End Security) to announce pickups on store PA. When it was changed, they introduced service 50 as First Aid instead.

ah fair enough... in WA there is no age restriction on selling smokes (yet) I love it when parents ring up... I basically tell them that they're not the employee and as a result, I am unable to discuss anything with them :P You definitley need to be fairly mature to deal with the staff and...

I don't see an issue with having somebody under 18 as service supervisor or an office cashier (or should I say SSA... still haven't got used to that :P) If they can do the job well, then age shouldn't be an issue. What reasons do you not train up under 18's townie?

I was office cashier when I was 16... I'm pretty sure this is a breach of the Age Discrimination Act of 2004. It basically says that all Australians, young, old and in between have the right to equal opportunities. I'd speak to your SSM and Store Manager about it, basically outline that you...

Yep what Townie said. Dissection dump into groceries and write on the reciept whatever the quantity of denominations was (eg 1x $50 note) and by who it was found by and where (eg found by townie on floor next to location 85) The reciept is then forwarded to invoice office who manage a future...

Would have thought service 50 would have been more appropriate. Some store managers I've met don't even know what a service 100 is! (Then again, store managers have sidekicks like me for that kinda stuff :P)

The average scanning rates for days/weeks gets screwed if you have SCO's. Not sure if they factor that into your target IPM, but I can't remember ours changing after we got SCO's. We don't even bother filling in the daily IPM on the IM e-form, we just do the week.
