You can. Log in to Stock Management from a workstation in store and print the PLU listing report. All the PLUs work on WoWPOS. What's that red arrow supposed to do?

I had one of the IT helpdesk staff send me a PM a while warning me about posting stuff. I think I was talking about Store Release 9.2. Basically asked him if he was contacting me in an official capacity, and he said no. Everything that's on StoreNet is 'released' so it's public domain i...

It's probably a takeover store from the Advantage group. Joondalup is also huge and was part of the same merger.

That store must be relaxing!! We've got 12 full service, 2 smokeshop, 5 SCO, 6 express, 3 liquor. About 150 staff I think.

Haha I've got another job (state government) which pays pretty well, so I want them to match the salary. They've yet to come to the party :P I'm thinking I should just be an arrogant prick and apply for SSM straight up! Are you a CSM townie?

Yeah that sounds about right! They do the launch.... 3 months later they SMART check you and wonder why you didn't get a 5 :P

Yeah I socialize pretty much exclusively with Woolworthians, so we talk about work A LOT! Plus, I've done almost every job in stores. Combine that with knowing StoreNet polices like the back of my hand... Quite sad really :P

Who's your SSM? (if you don't mind me asking)

The Regional HRM (and RSM?) was meant to oversee the project implementation in their region. Area HRS's and SSS's were supposed to develop individual training plans to upskill employees in conjunction with the SSM's (if i can remember the documentation...)

No meaning... they just choose internal names for projects, eg Phoenix, Galaxy, Refresh.

Yeah i think i may have an old uniform pic. Nah I'm a store slave at the moment. What made you think I was AO/RO?

Perhaps your management team isn't very safety focussed, or your store has a bad safety culture.

I'm pretty sure there is already a SMART for training... or maybe it's part of the HR one... cant remember. I agree that store staff need to take training more seriously. Not training staff screws stores over by increasing LTI and decreasing employee performance. Bottom line is that the SM...

    The Woolworths Thread

Yep everybody who comes into stores is supposed to be trained on non-trade (pallet jacks, capping ladders, safety steps, spill kits, bailers, etc etc) and WoWPOS, plus do their department specific Phase 3 training in-store. Employees who have been recruited for fresh then complete their...

Most of it is done by the butchers by hand, with the exception of mincing and stuff that requires the band saw.

Depends if your store has a meat room or not. If your store doesn't - all the meat is cut at the Meat DC (for WA anyway). For stores with meat rooms, the best way to tell what is from instore, and what's not is the label on the product. Stuff cut in store will say Store No. 1234 above the barcode.
