Hey lala :) For TSP we've only had 1 meeting so far... our academic mentors are actually Romano Fois together with Lorraine Smith and Jane Hanrahan, but they are pretty good. We haven't started activities as yet.. but will start next year. We could be doing placements/visits to pharm...

Everyone has a different opinion, and of course that's normal and should be respected. Everything that lala has said in this thread is completely true.

No worries :) Honestly, Pharmacy isn't a bad course - don't let people turn you off! Personally, I really like it. Go for it! Good luck with STAT.

I think there is quite a bit more work in BPharm compared to quite a lot of other degrees... it is quite challenging. Well in 1st semester we were unlucky to have a BIOL1003 (human bio) lecture at 5-6pm... But that was the latest we were ever at uni in sem 1. Bio pracs went from 2-5pm...

Hey there, I'm a current first year from BPharm (almost finished wooot) so I can provide u with some advice... You can't transfer in Semester 2, 2010 because the subjects in Semester 2 have corequesites with sem 1 subjects (ie you have to have attempted the previous semesters subjects to...

Last year's cut off was 91.90. Don't give up hope - I know of people in my year who got in with around 88/89 UAI (I'm first year - so this is according to last year's cut off). Be prepared for LOTS of work in BPharm ;) HSC x 2 lol

Thanks! :D I have to do an interview next week with a panel of 3 academics (oh goshhhh!) from the faculty. They say that 4-8 are gonna be picked, although I don't know if the WAM plays any role in selection, I have a feeling it might just be interview performance?
