Better to enter than not at all. Though you've gotta admit that even if that 1200 words is awesome, there might be someone whose quality of writing is just as good but they do 2000 words. The main part is entering though I guess

Just a general comment but I love the way that there ARE generally probs with non-e student results sites. Like last year I couldn't get my results off e student b/c of library fines. But then I went onto one of the temporary results sites and it gave them to me straight away. Hope they keep it up

Nothing. It's the people who cheat and knock aside anyone to get it ( the cut throat kind of people) that piss me off

The thing I hate about some law students is the arrogance. The funny thing is I can always TELL who the law students are in my arts/humanities tuts because they're the ones who are ALWAYS talking, they never shut up, they have to nit pick every little thing. They're pretentious and they speak...

Don't know about a social science degree, but as a few people have pointed out law degrees are sometimes brand marked by universities. I go to Macquarie uni and there are some mid and top tier law firms that only hire from USyd and UNSW. And yeah they pretty much don't even look at the resumes...

Basically I was wondering whether you can access I-lectures for courses you're not enrolled in? It's just I've head of one of my friends doing it but I wouldn't have the faintest how to. Any help muchly appreciated :/

Love my degree. Am majoring in gender studies for the arts part of my degree. The other side of my degree (law) isn't really that good yet but it should improve when i get into 3rd or 4th year!

The problem is when you go to roll down the hill at uni everyone gives you weird looks. I agree it just isn't the same :(

Seconded. Speaking from past knowledge, the minimum to get in would be around a credit average and a 87+ UAI. Though people who get this usually only just scrape in, and are at the bottom of the lists externally.
