    UNSW and Other Sydney Unis

Ok I think I've been a pretty nice guy on these forums... heehee I think you'll find I've helped a lot of people with maths back when I was in year 12 doing ext 2. Anyway the fact is you don't know what the hell you're talking about - unsw has plenty of nice girls around (as good as or...

    Residential Colleges...UNSW

goldstein is small, only around 70 people but as you may imagine everyone there is very close and its size promotes a very community orientated living style. Basser is bigger but still very fun - basser is only better I reckon cause of the basins in every room i reckon

    Accomadation questions

I'm pretty sure its not even 300 places - its more like 200. However there are around 1000 applications. If youre still even considering kenso colleges apply NOW as places will fill up fast - they are very popular.

HAHAHAHAHA you obviously have no game or have some incredibly bad vision. Whatever the hell you say dumbshit. Please dont listen to these tools playing down unsw if youre considering coming here. If youre simply considering uni's for their girls, unsw is no different from any other. But yeah the...

What do you expect to get out of -X- College?

I wouldnt worry too much about it. As long as you give a half decent sounding answer, other stuff matters a lot more (such as the interview, how much you need it and what kind of extracurricular activities youve done)

What do you expect to get out of -X- College?

well you can say youre looking for somewhere to stay... but also mention youd like to be a part of college life, make friends, etc. As for contributing to college life i cant remember what i wrote for that at all

    Residential Colleges...

lol... brainwashed by the people in the usyd forum were you? unsw colleges are not at all "just a place to sleep" (though as idyll said, IH in particular I've heard is very boring). In the end I dont think you should be deciding between unsw and usyd based on colleges because I doubt you could...

hahaha right sure whatever you say.... anyway even if that was true you should have noticed earlier in the thread its not about comparing computing degrees

    Residential Colleges...

*cough* bullshit *cough*. Please dont talk about something you obviously know nothing about (ie unsw colleges). I've said enough about unsw colleges to people in the unsw forum but i just had to call you out there. btw, i went to the thing at the manning bar at the start of semester 2 which was...

    Residential Colleges...UNSW

in terms of education, it depends on what degree you want to do...

    Residential Colleges...UNSW

Nope its not just stuff like touch... the biggest sports are probably hockey, rugby soccer, and a couple of others but theres a lot of smaller competitions like afl, water polo, tennis, etc. And I'm not sure what the Rawson cup is, but unsw has the "sports shield" where colleges are given...

    Soft Eng / Commerce =D

I do first year seng\commerce and yes, its very difficult but I think itll be worth it in the end. I doubt youll find a uni for better computer degrees in sydney, or even nsw for that matter

    Residential Colleges...UNSW

I really dont think sydney colleges would be any better than unsw colleges - i live in one of the kensington colleges and theyre all very big socially and in terms of sport (theres inter-college competitions for just about every sport you can imagine). Anyway everything that can be said about...

    UNSW and Other Sydney Unis

yeah everything to be said about the colleges has been said in other threads, but if youre not an alcohol kind of person, I'd try to avoid any of the kensington colleges, and vice versa. Whether you choose a kenso or an independent one tho, youll still have a lot of fun

    UNSW and Other Sydney Unis

While the uni accomodation itself isnt fantastic at unsw, its still ok (and not very hard to get for those coming from overseas). Most importantly, if you decide to stay on campus at one of the colleges to have fun, theres no doubt youll have it. I can't speak for usyd, but unsw is an awesome...

better campus life? HAHAHAHAH living on campus myself at unsw, I'd have to say i seriously doubt it
  17. G

    UNSW and Other Sydney Unis

If youre doing comp eng, you may want to go to unsw - UNSW's school of computing is one of if not the best in Australia. Sydney's however isnt up there with the best. And also, if you're wondering about which uni to go to socially, I would say you cant go wrong between unsw or usyd if you plan...

Answers to Accommodation/Colleges questions at UNSW

I think it just becomes obvious by reading about the various colleges - if someone wants to be able to go to a college with both sexes and the ability to drink in the college, they'd have to choose kenso or shalom (though I dont know how much shalom drinks as I dont know anyone from there)...

    Accomodation @ UNSW

I once had to fill out a centrelink form where I had to say how much I paid for board or rent, and if I got fed how that cost. The housing office said to put down $110\week for food, so I'm guessing that how much eurest is paid to feed us at the kenso colleges. By the way, interesting little...
