Well I got into basser for this year but my brother went to baxter and he seemed to enjoy it (and claims that its better than basser, but I doubt that :p)

For its time, HOMM 1 was so damn awesome... But 3 was easily the best of the series (4 sucked).

considering I got 98.2 with an advanced english mark of 83, I'd say its very possible

I've seen the sub 16ms lcd's playing both games and movies and can seriously see no lag or anything - the only downside to lcd's is the price as far as I can see

My raw assessment mark would have been around 70 for english - it ended up being 82 once aligned\moderated. But then, english is really what would have been what really kept my uai down to 98.2

I got 98.2, but a lot of my english assessments would have been well under 80 lol

The pioneer 109 is $111 at msy, it burns + and - DL at 6x I believe - definately one of the best burners out at the moment and will produce few errors with just about any media

Hmm well I chose higher computing and higher maths. I got 192\200 in total for ext 2 maths but I did absolutely no computing in the hsc and dont know much at all about programming... Would I still be able to cope with higher computing?

hehe dont flatter yourselves too much :p. But seriously I'd been thinkin about seng for a while, though I'm still not sure though whether I'll complete it as seng\commerce or will settle back to comp sci\commerce

hahaha no thanks. I'm definately looking for something unrelated to seng. I was thinking doin actuarial studies but people told me I was crazy so maybe finance or something

B software engineering\B commerce Was pretty sure I had the uai anyway, but its my first preference so Im happy. Still not sure what Im going to major in in commerce.

I doubt you will find a place at one of the unsw colleges anymore but you could try - I applied back in october and managed to get one. It does cost a fair bit, but remember it includes everything such as all food and bills (apart from phone\internet)

the point of general education subjects is that you get to choose from a wide variety of areas

Actually, the bos doesnt have any requirements like that - its completely up to the school\students whether 4u people do 2u tests

No they cant do 2u maths, just ext 1 and 2. The 2u exam is on at the same time as ext 2 anyway

I dont think they start taking applications until around mid way through the year, I didnt apply till october. Also spots are fairly competitive, so dont think its easy to get a place

I've also heard a lot of good things about polyview - they make cheap monitors, but other than your experience Ive only heard good things about them (and theyre a lot less expensive than sony)
