Is it a good idea to join your University's Unions?

Your union dues are VERY IMPORTANT. They go to help feral looking layabouts with nothing better to do than protest against something-anything! Crayons cost, you know. Alll that scrawling on cardboard requires much needed union dollars. Ha Ha. Wait till you attend your first lecture and some...

From memory, at least with the most 'prestigous' unis, the late round cut offs were minimum 90's for BA's at USYD & UNSW etc.

    How can there be Vacancies?

You'd think most courses would have people who don't take up an initial offer. therefore, most courses should have vacancies for final round.

Late fee applies if you are applying from scratch through UAC, not a mere change of preference from your initial ontime application. Your preference change is free!!

    How can there be Vacancies?

I see USYD and UNSW have V's after their BA's. How can this be? I thought the UAI was determined by the mark of the last candidate to fill the last place available. I presume they must hold places deliberately for the last round.

    So whos doing law?

I'm doin' law cause I reckon Judge Judy will retire in 5 years time and there gonna need a replacement. I will need a 'Burt" to grovel at my feet, though. Perhaps a communications graduate can do it when all those journo jobs are magically non-existent.

    super-crazy dilemma

Only UTS can tell you that. One thing they say is whatever course you choose, make sure you are willing to complete that particular course because there is no guarrantee that you'll get to transfer. Transfers are very competitive. You don't want to be left leaving the first degree and having a...
