    Re: what should u do ifu get bad maks in ur first maths test Just give up maths like I did ^that's what I would've said if I received a bad mark in maths. lol Just read cambridge 2unit/3unit. Read all of it except the study notes section.

    ok yea, that was a bad example since I made it on the spot. Though I'm talking about when the question says there's at least 1 rational root...but you knew what I meant I hate using the calculator but oh well

    There's a better way than substituting all the p/q values to find a rational root right? I use my calc for it, but it still takes forever! So is this all about luck? e.g. 2x^3 -1=0 potential roots are +\-1/2, +\-1 but a much longer one

    Yea people with 10 units do. IPT is a great backup IMO. If you have a knack for computers then you can easily get high marks with very little study/revision.

    for 9 find relationship between h and r find tan(x/2) and then do it. I used the double angle formula and then realised I could've done I via calc. Then use dV/dt=dV/dh x dh/dt I can't picture 24 in my head. ???

    18 can be just a harder 2unit question distance = speed x time Let time be t and distance be c Use the cosine rule and then find the rate of which c is changing
