    Accounting Job Prospects?

Good reasons IMO. If you are seeking more challenging issues whether it be accounting for financial instruments or impairment/going concern analysis, aim for the bigger divisions in the big 4 (i.e. not the middle market divisions).

    Drivetrain of Choice?

LOL I don't have a wheel spin light. Nor do I think most of us need one to know when we have wheelspin.

Where do you reckon is the best suburb to live in Sydney?

Wow some of the guys here are very willing to travel. Uni was a pain for the Hills district residents.

    Most Disappointing Car

Oh fair enough. You want a Bimmer that badly? I'm inclined to think that the reliability issues and whatnot would deter all but those who are truly heart set on one.

    Drivetrain of Choice?

I still remember my first time aquaplaning on the uphill @ Epping Rd (going from Epping towards Epping Boys/Macq Centre). Wasn't even raining that hard nor was I going very fast (60-70km/h in an 80 zone) but the car and the ute to my left both suddenly started drifting towards the centre of the...

    Drivetrain of Choice?

FWD cars can go sideways... just not elegantly. I've overcooked it before when turning too hard in the wet :(

    Most Disappointing Car

I'd say the fact it's surviving after 27 years is testament to some form of good quality. That being said I probably would've avoided a soft top/convertible of that age... bound to have water leakage.

What do those TRIANGLES on the road mean?

Also wondering about those which are only on one side of the lane.

    Most Disappointing Car

If you can't figure this out on your own (or at least ask in a more relevant place) you should consider private tutoring. ps. I'll stop being nasty now but seriously, don't be a noob. Bored of Studies - Student online community, resources, notes, past exams, UAI Calculator, ENTER Calculator...

    Drivetrain of Choice?

In the wet even with mild acceleration, some cars can have the traction control kick in. Even in my AWD without going too crazy I've had stability control kick in. I was thinking about this today when driving the Civic... gotta remember not to floor it in the wet (no stability/traction...

What do those TRIANGLES on the road mean?

Has anyone noticed these are popping up on a lot of roads? They usually are in a series (e.g. you are driving forward in a lane, and there are arrows on the right side of the lane pointing left) so I'm inclined to think it means keep to the left/stay in your lane? *shrugs* They definitely...

    Drivetrain of Choice?

That's true, but I suppose it comes down to what one does in 'daily driving'. I was in a mate's new MPS3 and man that thing pulls hard but even at low speeds under 100km/h, I could feel stability control coming in every now and then.

    Most Disappointing Car

BMW 740iL (E38)- my first V8 car I'd ever driven and I thought it would be "whoa omg acceleration" but it wasn't. It was very sedate. The car defied it's size and felt no bigger than a Corolla from the way it steered, but then the acceleration from a 4.4L V8 was nothing which left me breathless...

    Drivetrain of Choice?

Haha the only reason I still touch Maximum Tune every now and then (we're talking max $5 a month! Big improvement lol) is because my car is in the game.

Well Kevin's nanny net laptops fail even more...

And in a roundabout way you could also argue that those who don't have children who go to school in Australia and/or recently migrated from abroad are paying taxes which go to those laptops. I used to be annoyed about them knowing that most of them are probably going to be used for games or...

    the dream car thread

I found it quite coincidental that Lexus start advertising the LFA right after the Top gear episode on Monday :) On another note, since they are all already pre-sold (at an exorbitant price), it is presumably only advertising the Lexus brand as being performance-oriented (despite the volume...
